Chapter 1

Ed and Chico were in the office when Louie pulled in the garage. Louie got out of the car with tears in his eyes.

"Chico, Ed? I'm afraid I have some bad news to tell you."

Ed waved to Chico to his direction.

"Rosebud and I have had a wonderful relationship. I'm afraid she's on her last mile," Louie sadly said as he wiped his eyes.

"Ah Louie you've had her for years. Think of all the good times you've had together " Ed said.

"Yeah Ed, that's why I can't part with Rosebud".

"Here Louie, let me see if I can add little more life to her".

Chico opened the hood and fiddled with the engine.

"Mail Call , Mail Call !" Mable came into the garage.

"Here Ed', she said as she handed him his mail.

"Thanks Mable " He said as he tore them up and threw them up in the air.

"You know Ed, you should really open up your mail. You'll never know what you'll find in there". Mable said with her arms folded.

"All I find are letters saying I owe! I owe! "

"Here, Chico, you have mail also. One looks important. It's a telegram".

"Thanks," Chico said, "Hey it's a letter from my Cousin Pepe! He's performing in Vegas! He wants me to be there with him."

"Vegas?! How can you go during the busy season?" Ed said

"Busy season? We haven't been busy in weeks. " Chico said.

"Vegas, I love Vegas! That’s a sinful city though. When do I pack?" said Louie.

"You know something Louie you've given me a great idea. Why don’t we all go to Vegas? I can see Pepe and you can give

Rose Bud one last hurrah!" said Chico.

"Hey that's a wonderful idea! " said Louie.

"Let's hustle Ed. First I've got to call Reverend Bemis and tell him his Scooter is ready." Chico said.

Chico quickly dialed his number.

"Reverend Bemis your scooter is ready. Could you please come over and pick it up?" Chico said, eagerly waiting for his response.

"Why Chico my son, what seems to be the hurry? Reverend Bemis asked.

" Well Reverend Bemis, My Cousin Pepe is performing in Vegas. He has invited me to come see him." Chico said.

"Vegas?!? That dreadful sinful town with gamblers, hookers, and drunkards? I'd better come along to make sure you stay out of trouble Chico."

Chapter 2

Very early the next morning everyone met with their bags at Ed’s garage.

"Gee, Ed, I hope ole Rosebud can make the trip. I hope she'll enjoy the trip as much as I will."

Reverend Bemis patted Louie on the shoulder.

" Louie, may God grant Rosebud her special trip to Los Vegas. Amen!" Reverend Bemis prayed.

" Amen!" They all shouted.

"Now let's get a rollin' Rosebud!" Louie shouted as he pulled out of the garage.

"Here guys, I packed us a lunch for the trip." Chico passed out the sandwiches to everyone.

" What do you have to drink Chico?’ Reverend Bemis asked.

"Here Rev, here is some juice I cooked last night." Chico said.

Ed turned his head to Chico.

"Oh no, Chico, not that stuff?"

"Yeah, Ed," Chico said.

"Reverend Bemis that stuff has a kick to it!" Ed said

"Ah Ed, nothing is too strong for me." Reverend Bemis said.

"Here then Rev, get a load of this." Ed passed him the bottle.

Reverend Bemis took a swig from the bottle.

"Ooof! This stuff should be outlawed!" Reverend Bemis said as he took another swig from the bottle. "Oooof!"

"There's no alcohol in it Rev," said Chico.

"It doesn't need any!" said Reverend Bemis.

"Hey gimme some of that Chico," Louie shouted.

"Hey this is pretty good! Not enough Tabasco sauce though."

Reverend Bemis shook his head as he looked Louie.

"No wonder you’re so fiery all the time Louie!" Ed said.

Night approached, as the lights from Vegas became brighter.

"Ah, the city that never sleeps".

Chico raised his arms and stretched them out the window.

"Hey look there's Pepe's Hotel."

Chico said and pointed in its direction.

"The Sands Hotel and Casino. Well what'll you know," Ed said happily.

As Louie pulled rosebud to the front entrance, they all got out of the car. "So, this is the famous Sands hotel. Hello!" Chico said.

"Just lead me to the bar!" Ed said.

They all checked in and entered their room.

"Ah how nice a fruit basket! There’s a note for Chico," said Chico.

The note said, "To Chico, hope to meet all of you soon. Signed Pepe Fernando".

"Ah that was nice of Pepe to send us the fruit basket. I will call him and tell him we received it," Chico said.

Louie went to the basket and grabbed a handful of fruit. He started to eat them.

"Louie stop eating all the fruit!" Ed said.

"But I’m hungry Ed!" Louie said.

Chico dialed the hotel operator.

"Pepe Fernando's room please. This Chico Rodriguez."

"Hello?" Pepe said

"Pepe? This is Chico."

"Hey bee! Glad you made it!" Pepe said.

"Thanks for inviting us Pepe," Chico said.

"Ah Chico, it's nice to have family around," Pepe said.

"Have you settled in yet?" Pepe asked.

"Yes, in fact we are getting ready to hit the casino."

"Wonderful, have a great time then," Pepe said.

Later everyone left for the casino.

"Ah, the Black Jack tables, the poker tables. The roulette. Where do I begin!" Ed said.

Chico spotted a pretty lady walking past them.

"I'll begin over here!" Chico said.

Chico started to follow her.

"Mera mami linda oyeee!" Chico shouted as he blew kisses at her.

"Well, at least we'll know where Chico will be for a while," Ed said.

Ed and Louie sat at the black jack table. Played a few, lost a few. Chico came over and sat next to them.

"Have you guys seen Reverend Bemis lately?" Chico said.

"No Chico, I haven’t." Louie said.

"Nope, nada " Ed said as he watched the table.

" Well hello gentlemen," Reverend Bemis came from behind them.

"Surprised to see you here, Rev." Chico said.

"Just checking up on you three. Making sure you’re out of the Devils path."

"Sorry Reverend Bemis I took a wrong turn past the lobby." Ed said as Louie hid his face in shame.

"Well, I'll leave you three alone." Reverend Bemis left their table.

As Reverend Bemis headed out the casino he stepped on a poker chip.

"Hmm, a lost poker chip. What is this supposed to tell me...I'll turn it in and donate it to the Church back home."

As Reverend Bemis headed towards the cashier he spotted a roulette table.

"Hmm, what's going on here?" Reverend Bemis said as he looked on at the action going on at the table.

"Place your bets!" said the attendant at the table.

Reverend Bemis tossed his chip in the air. "Should I, or shouldn't I? Sands side yes, other side no".

Reverend Bemis tossed the coin in the air and watched it as it fell to the floor.

"Sands!" Yelled Reverend Bemis as he raised his hands in the air.

"Hallelujah!"

He gratefully headed for the table and placed his bet.

"I'd like to put this chip on black 16" Reverend Bemis said.

"Are you sure?" said the attendant. Reverend Bemis did not realize he had found an expensive chip.

"Yes, on black 16 " Reverend Bemis said.

The attendant dropped the ball and the wheel spun and spun.

"Oh boy!" Reverend Bemis said as he rubbed his hands together.

"Black 16! " The attendant shouted.

"Praise God!" yelled Reverend Bemis. "The Lord is good."

Reverend Bemis gratefully excepted his winning chips.

"I'd like to place another bet on black 16 again please". Said Reverend Bemis. He then waited for the wheel to stop spinning. "Hallelujah! I did it again! The Lord is good!" Reverend Bemis was gleaming with joy.

Meanwhile Ed, Louie and Chico were playing poker. They received their cards. Each enjoying a cigar.

"Hey Waitress! Gimme a bourbon, " Ed said.

"Whatcha got Louie?" Ed said.

"I'm not gonna tell you Ed!" Louie shouted.

"Gimme another card!" each of them yelled.

"Hey! Hey! I won!" Chico got up from his chair and did a little dance.

"Holy Smokey Robinson! It's a miracle!" Chico gleamed from the win. Then He gawked at a passing lady. * Smooch* "Come here to daddy sweetheart!" Chico said.

"Ah Chico, sit down and play some more," Louie said.

"You know I've been kinda worried about Reverend Bemis? I hope he's not bored to death." Ed said.

A loud thunderous applause was heard at the other side of the casino.

"Hey, let's see what all the commotion is all about?" They said to one another.

They came closer to the crowd.

"Reverend Bemis... I thought you didn't gamble?" Ed, Louie and Chico said.

Reverend Bemis folded his arms over the pile of winnings trying to hide the evidence.

"Sorry Ed, Chico, Louie, I found a chip and this were it lead me. I just couldn't stop playing!"

"We forgive you Rev" Ed said as he nudged him. "Now gimme some of those chips."

Chapter 3

Later in the evening the house phone rang.

"Paging Chico Rodriguez, Chico Rodriguez."

Chico ran to the phone.

"Chico, can you come up to the room? I need to talk to you".

"Sure thing Pepe! I'll be right there."

Chico knocked on Pepe's door.

"Wow Pepe! You’re living the big time!" Chico said. Chico couldn't get over the size of Pepe's suite.

"Thanks Chico, It's been along road to the top. I finally made it to Vegas! Could you hang with me for a while, It's been lonely at the top you know without any family," Pepe said

"Sure thing Pepe, we can have a lot of fun together here in Las Vegas." Chico hugged Pepe.

"What do you think of the mucho bonitas, Chico?" Pepe said with a grin.

"They’re wall to wall, Pepe! Girls everywhere, night and day!" Chico said.

"That's great Chico!" Pepe said.

" Hey, listen Pepe, I better go find Ed and Louie. They’re probably worried sick about me," Chico said.

"Ok Chico, I'll call you later after the show," Pepe said.

"You got it!" Chico said as he left to go find Ed.

Later Pepe, Ed, Louie and Chico met together to have brunch. Chico was anxious to finish his meal so he can go to the casino.

"Sorry I'm rushing. I might have a date with a cute little black jack dealer. I wanna deal her the right card," Chico said with a wink.

"Ok Chico you go chase after that bonita for me. In fact give her my number," Pepe said jokingly.

"Ah Pepe it's nice to see you and Chico and laughing again, especially after you were hitting on Liz," Ed said.

"Yeah, Chico and I got over that a while ago. Is Liz still going to nursing school?" Pepe asked.

"Yeah, as far as we know," Ed said.

"Um... Ed, Louie, I have a favor to ask of you. As well as Reverend Bemis," Pepe said desperately.

"What is it?" Ed said.

"What seems to be the trouble?" Louie asked.

"There seems to be trouble with the books. I keep getting calls regarding money I'm supposed to be paying that I was never aware of," Pepe said nervously.

"How long has this been going on Pepe?" Louie asked.

"About a couple of months," Pepe said secretly.

"Hello everyone! Sorry I'm late," Reverend Bemis said.

"Hey no problem Reverend Bemis, glad you could make it. By the way, how much did you win this morning?" Pepe smiled as he kidded with the Reverend.

"I'm going straight to hell!" said Reverend Bemis as he gave a shocked look and covered his face in embarrassment.

"Don't worry Rev, I won't tell," said Pepe.

"Well, anyway as I was saying, I need to find a way to prove that the money is missing," Pepe said.

"Did you hire any new people lately Pepe?" Ed asked.

"Just two fellas, said that they were good accountants," said Pepe.

" Why don't the three of us do some investigating?" Reverend Bemis said.

"Yeah! It will be just like Sherlock Holmes ". Ed said

"Please don't tell Chico right now. He's having a great time here, I don't want to ruin his vacation," Pepe said.

"Your secret is safe with us Pepe," they all said to one another as the raise the glasses and clanked them together.

Chapter 4

Chico was at the tables.

"Say Momma how about you and I get together and have our own little poker party and later catch a Vegas Show ". The girl agreed and the both went for a walk.

Ed, Louie and Reverend Bemis looked for the thugs that screwed Pepe over.

"You know Ed, how are we gonna find two thugs in a place like this? This place is probably crawling with them," Louie said.

"Just think about the old movies Louie. Look for two guys wearing hideous looking striped suits". Ed said.

"Hey, what's happening over there?" Reverend Bemis shouted. "Looks like a bunch of hideous looking thugs to me," Reverend Bemis said.

Ed, Louie, and Reverend Bemis approached the group of men.

"Are you here for the show?" A cigar smoking Mexican asked.

"Show? What show?" Ed questioned.

"What? What are you talking about?" Louie said

"Follow me," said the Mexican.

"Where are we going?" Louie asked.

"I don't know, I was told to follow him," Ed said.

"Here! The three of you take this bag and change!" said the Mexican.

"What's in here?" They all said one after another.

"No more talking! Hurry up and change," said the Mexican, "or you'll be late!"

Mean while Chico and his date got a close table for the show.

Chico called the waiter. "Hey waiter! We'll have a couple shots of tequila please!"

"You know, the best way to drink tequila is to lick a little salt, drink a little

Tequila, suck on a lemon, lick a little salt, drink a little tequila, suck on a lemon.

Between the licking and the sucking of the salt and the lemon, I'm surprised I get to drink much or any tequila!" Chico said with a laugh.

"Ah, this sounds like an interesting show. Something about the flying Elvis's," said Chico has he hugged his date.

"I've never heard of them Chico," said his date.

"Me either, the critics say it's funny though. We'll soon find out". Chico told his date.

The announcement came over the PA system.

"And Now Ladies and Gentlemen, the Sands Hotel and Casino proudly present the Flying Elvis’s!"

"Hey look, a whole bunch of Elvis 's singing Good Luck Charm while they're swinging back and forth on bungie cords! They look like they’re flying." Chico's date said.

"Hey Chico!" Chico heard from a distance. "Get me down! Get me down!"

Chico kept hearing voices, but didn’t realize where they were coming from.

One flew over by Chico. "Help! Get me down!"

"That's a funny looking Elvis," Chico’s date said.

"Yeah they’re hilarious! " Said Chico.

"Wait a minute! Cheese and crackers! It's Ed, Louie, and coming far behind is Reverend Bemis!" Chico screamed.

"Are you guys outta your mind? What's up with that?" Chico screamed.

"Where on the look out for your Cousin Pepe!" Ed said.

" Can't talk now, I'll explain later".

Shortly after the flying Elvis's left the stage.

An announcer came to the stage.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, The Sand hotel and Casino Proudly present Pepe Fernando!"

Pepe started the show off with Light My Fire. The crowd went wild.

"That's my cousin over there on the stage," Chico sat tall and pointed to Pepe.

"Pepe Fernando is your cousin?" his date asked.

Suddenly she hugged Chico and became more romantic.

"Hello!" Chico said with eagerness.

As the show continued, Louie and Reverend Bemis showed up at Chico's table. Ed came up from behind Chico.

"Ed, what’s up with you, Louie and Reverend Bemis?" Chico became curious.

"Why were you all dressed up like Elvis and swinging from a bungie cord?" Chico asked.

"Pepe has had some financial trouble a few thugs as he called them," Ed said.

"Really? He never told me!" Chico said.

"Chico, Pepe didn't want to ruin your vacation. He was too happy to have you with him, he didn't want to spoil it for you. Anyhow it's all taken care of," Ed said over the hustle and bustle of the crowd.

"Pepe did ask me to have you see him again before you go back home ". Ed said.

"Ok Ed, thanks. I'll see him after the show". Chico said.

Later in the evening the house lights went on. Chico found his way back stage.

"I'm looking for Pepe Fernando's dressing room," Chico asked the guard.

"Who may I say is seeing him?" The guard said.

"My name is Chico Rodriguez Y Sanchez

"Hold on one sec". Said the guard.

"Right this way please, Mr. Rodriguez," said the guard.

The guard lead Chico to Pepe's dressing room.

"Pepe! , What a fabulous show !" Chico said.

"Chico, I'm so glad you could make it back". Pepe said.

"Tell me something Pepe, what’s happening with your accountants?" Chico looked concerned.

"I noticed things weren't going well Chico when I was receiving money and getting calls regarding bills not being paid. I had Ed, Louie, and the Reverend check it out for me," Pepe said.

"Man, I would do anything for you Pepe. We’re blood remember?" Chico said.

"Yes, Chico, please forgive me." Pepe hugged him.

"All is forgiven, brother," Chico said.

"Now let’s find us some mucho bonitas!" Pepe said.

"You got it!" Chico said.

Chapter 5

Chico had decided to hit the tables very early in the morning together.

Chico couldn't stop thinking of Pepe's troubles. "If only I could help him out with some money," Chico thought as he quietly got dressed.

Chico dug into his pockets. "Hmm, what I have left couldn't put a dent in Pepe's troubles," Chico said quietly.

Chico snuck out the hotel room and headed for the Casino.

Chico got near the bar and saw someone sitting there.

"Pepe? Mighty early to be drinking isn't it !?! " Chico asked with concern.

"Yeah, maybe I should get together with Ed," said Pepe.

Chico and Pepe both laughed as Chico clanked Pepe's drink.

"Chico I've been here all night. I haven't been to sleep," said Pepe.

"Hey Pepe, things will get better now that those two guys are out of your business?" Chico tried to reassure Pepe.

"Yeah, but I'm also missing my family. Touring is rough Chico. Especially without any loved ones around," Pepe said.

"Are there anyone in your group that you can get to know closer?" Chico asked.

"Yes, but after my last experience with the accountants, I'm afraid I'll be swindled out of more money," Pepe said as he took a drink.

"I'd love to help you out Pepe, but I don't know how," Chico tried to reassure Pepe.

"Chico there is a way you can help me out," Pepe said as held Chico’s arm.

"Please hang with me till the tour is over Chico," Pepe said.

"You want me to be with you through out the rest of the tour?!" Chico looked surprised.

"Listen Chico, think it over the next few days and let me know," said Pepe. "I could really use some family." Pepe called his aid and went back to his hotel room.

Chico left the bar then walk to the casino. Chico headed for the black jack tables.

"Place your bets!" said the attendant.

Chico placed a few chips on the table.

Chico received his cards.

"Hit me! " said Chico.

"Hit me again!" Chico said.

"Damn! I went over! " Chico was disappointed.

Coming from behind was Ed.

"Hi Chico," said Ed.

"Hi Ed," Chico said, depressed.

"Care if I join you? " Ed said.

"Sure, Ed." Chico pulled over a seat for Ed.

Ed gave Chico a cigar.

"Care for a smoke?" Ed said as he lit it up.

"Sure, Ed." Chico leaned over to Ed to light up his cigar.

"Hey Louie, nice to see you. Come sit over here." Ed motioned to Louie and passed him a cigar.

"You guys looked pretty funky in those Elvis suits," said Chico.

"Why thanks Chico! I kept mine for a souvenir," Louie said.

"Come on, come on. Gimme a good card," Ed said.

"Outta sight!" said Louie as he received his cards.

"Looking Good!" Chico said.

"Hey! Hey! " Said Louie as he won the draw. "It's about time something good happen to us folk!" Louie said with a big smile.

They waited patiently for the next hand.

Ed tapped the table.

Chico kissed his Sister Quadulpe pendant, then he kissed his St. Christopher.

"Oh that's right St. Christopher got laid off. I'll save him for later." Then

Chico kissed his Silver Star, then his Star of David. " Hey, you know. You can never be too sure!"

The cards were dealt.

Chico picked one up.

An Ace!

"Wow," thought Chico.

Louie received his cards. "Geesh, this isn't gonna be good," Louie said as he shook his head back and forth.

Ed looked at his. "Hmm . . . a possibility."

Then they received their next cards.

Chico lifted his card very slowly looking at the corner. His heart pounded.

"Holy Mother of God!" Chico whispered.

"Am I dreaming?" He lifted the card over. It was a 10.

Chico, with his eyes wide open, couldn't believe what he saw.

"I won! Thank you Quadlupe! " Chico said as he raised his drink in the air.

"How would you like your winnings sir?" asked the attendant.

"Hey, just gimme them in big bags sweet heart!" Chico said.

"This will help Pepe a great deal!" Chico thought.

"Can I have this made to Pepe Fernando?" Chico said.

"Yes, sir. Right this way," said the attendant.

The attendant escorted Chico to the cashier and had the check issued to Pepe.

"Could someone please deliver this check to Pepe Fernando's room. Please keep this a secret," said Chico.

"Sure thing Mr. Rodriguez," said the cashier.

Chapter 6

Chico knocked on Pepe's door.

"Come in," Pepe said.

"Pepe, it's me Chico."

Chico walked in as he heard a girl’s voice.

"Liz?" Chico looked surprised.

"Chico?" Liz ran to Chico and greeted him

"It's so nice to see you again. Thanks for helping Pepe out," Chico said.

"Hey Chico, no trouble at all," Liz said.

" I've missed you, you know," Liz said has she tickled Chico’s tummy.

"Pepe has offered me a few days off. So I came by to visit when I heard you were in town," said Liz.

"That was nice of Pepe," Chico said as he hugged Liz.

" Hey how about some Black Jack! I feel lucky Chico," said Liz.

"You and me both, sister!" Chico said with a grin.

Chico and Liz headed for the casino.

"Hey about playing some craps," Chico said.

"Ok Chico, lead the way!" Liz followed Chico where they found a not so busy table.

"Here Liz, ladies first!" Chico said.

"Ok baby roll me a seven! ... Ah nuts!" said Liz.

"I guess I'm not having any good luck here Chico," Liz said as she laid her head on Chico's shoulder.

"Here Liz, you’re throwing them all wrong. Gotta use the wrist more. Here, let me show you," Chico said.

Chico went behind Liz. Held her hand and they threw the dice together.

"Hey Chico, that's pretty good!" smiled Liz.

"See Liz, I knew you could do it!" Chico held her from behind again. Chico helped her throw the dice some more. This time he turned to her afterwards and kissed her.

"M'm, m'm, Chico let's keep the dice hot and not us ok?" Liz said

"Sorry Liz, seeing you again got me all excited, just had to express myself," Chico said.

"Well, you did a very good job of it, Chico," Liz smiled.

Chico turned to Liz and kissed her again.

"Liz, are you and Pepe... involved in any way?" Chico awaited her answer.

"No Chico, strictly business," Liz said.

"Well, I don't want to come between you and Pepe," Liz said.

"You mean like how you were doing with me and the gambling?" Chico smiled.

"Wanna go hit the crap tables, Liz? " Chico said.

"Sure Chico just give me a few minutes so I can let Pepe know where I am".

Liz dialed the front desk and left a message for Pepe.

"Ok Chico let's get rollin" Said Liz.

"Ah rollin' you think your gonna have some hot dice tonight? Huh." Chico said with a smirk.

"I'm gonna win big Chico. I can feel it!" Liz cupped her hands expecting big winnings.

Chico and Liz headed towards the casino when they spotted Pepe.

"Hey, hey Pepe!" Chico shouted.

"Hello Pepe," Liz followed.

"Care to join us at the casino?" Liz asked.

"Why Liz, I'd love to join you! " said Pepe.

Chico and Liz escorted Pepe on each arm to the casino.

"Ah, what shall we play first?" Pepe said.

"I vote for the craps table!" Liz said.

"I second that mama!" Chico said.

"Sounds like a wonderful idea to me," Pepe said.

They all gathered at the table.

Chico shook the dice and kissed them.

"Come on honey baby bring me luck!

"Hey, hey alright!" Chico cheered.

Liz followed, shook her dice and threw them.

"Ah so close Chico. Maybe next time," Liz said.

"Here let me try! " Pepe said. Pepe threw the dice.

"Hey, hey, way to go Pepe! " Chico said.

"Did I win?" Pepe said.

"Your sure did ". Chico and Liz said together.

"Are you my prize, Liz? " Pepe said.

"Ah Pepe, stop kidding around," Liz patted him on the shoulder.

"Liz has brought us good luck Pepe," Chico said.

"Yes, she's quite a good luck charm. Something I'd like to hang on to," Pepe said.

"You and me both cuz' " Chico said.

"I'll understand Chico if you are thinking of getting serious with her. She's a sweet girl. You know I tried to make a move on her when I visited you last. She slapped me silly," Pepe said.

"Yes, Pepe I remember very well," Chico said.

"Don't ever argue with a women like that Chico. She's feisty!" Pepe said.

"Thanks for the warning Pepe!" Chico and Pepe both laughed.

Pepe and a companion left for the bar.

Chico gave the dice to Liz.

"Here Liz, you roll the dice". Chico said.

"Ok, Chico." Liz got a hold of the dice. Chico was behind Liz with his arms around her.

"You know Chico with you being so close to me, people are gonna think were married or something," Liz said jokingly.

"Well you know, Liz, we've known each other for quite sometime. Heck, were almost family with you helping Pepe," Chico said.

"How about we... make it official?" Chico looked in Liz's eyes.

"You mean...me, Mrs. Chico Rodriguez?" Liz had a curious look on her face.

"Sure Liz, why not?" Chico smiled.

"How do you think Pepe will take it?" Liz said.

"I'm sure Pepe will be thrilled," Chico said.

"Well Chico, this is a bet we both have won. Let's do it!" Liz tossed the dice in the air and it landed on the table.

Chico and Liz took off to find everyone. They found Ed and Louie at the bar.

"Hey Ed, Louie, We are getting married ! Please help us find Reverend Bemis."

"Hey that's great Chico and Liz! Let's go find the Rev!" said Louie.

They all searched the hotel and found Reverend Bemis in the chapel.

"Reverend Bemis?" Chico and Liz approached him.

"Yes, my children?" Reverend Bemis said.

"We, Liz and I, have decided to get married here in the chapel. Would you do the honor of officiating the ceremony?" Chico said.

"Would I!?! Why I would be delighted!" Reverend Bemis said with a big smile.

"Great Rev, we let you know more on the details of the wedding. First we have to go find Pepe. " Liz and Chico hugged Reverend Bemis.

Liz and Chico called Pepe from the front desk.

"Pepe, Liz and I would like to ask you a special favor from you. If we may?" Chico said.

"Yes, anything Chico"

" Would you mind if you could sing a song at our wedding?" Chico said.

"Wedding? Well that's great news Chico!’ Pepe said.

"We are planning on getting married tomorrow in the Hotel Chapel," Chico said.

"Yes Chico, that will be my gift to you and Liz," Pepe said happily.

Chico and Liz said good night to everyone and waited patiently for tomorrow.

Chapter 7

Liz woke up early. She was singing. "I'm going to the Chapel and were gonna get married."

Louie, Chico, and Reverend Bemis were asleep in the next room. Ed was tossing and turning.

"What is that awful noise I keep hearing?" Ed said tiredly.

Ed nudged Chico.

"Chico, Chico, do you hear that?" Ed said.

"Hear what Ed?" Chico turned over.

"That awful noise?!" Ed said.

Chico got up and stuck his ear closer to the wall.

"Ah, that's Liz singing! That's so sweet." Chico swayed back and forth to the beat of the song Liz sang.

"I think I’ll go get the wax out of my ears," Ed said as he got up.

Chico rose out of bed thinking about Liz and getting married.

"Ah, It's gonna be a day I'll never forget!" Chico said as he stretched his arms.

"Getting married to mi amore Liz in Vegas and having Pepe here with us." Chico smiled as he looked out the hotel window.

Chico called Liz at her hotel room.

"Ah, mi amante bourica," Chico said softly.

"Chico?" Liz said.

"Yes Liz, who were you expecting? Pepe? " Chico asked.

"No Chico, I've been singing and I'm so happy. I was just in my own little world. Pepe means nothing to me," Liz explained.

"Whew that's a relief!" Chico said.

"Pepe tells me often that he's afraid to approach you thinking you’re gonna slap him silly. Like you did when you first met," Chico said.

"Well he knows better now, Chico, I've got him under control," Liz laughed.

"Wow Chico, I'm so excited! Soon I'll be Mrs. Chico Rodriguez. Well Chico, until then, I must not see you till the wedding. Bad luck you know!" Liz said.

"Yes, yes, mi linda, I'll be waiting ". Chico said anxiously.

Later in the day Liz got her outfit she was going to wear and headed for the Chapel. Her arms were fully loaded. Liz could barely make it down the hallway.

"Boy, this is a lot of stuff to wear just to get married. I hope I never have to do this again. I'm so nervous!" Liz said

Chico along with Ed, Louie and Reverend Bemis went in a different direction to the Chapel. "Do you have everything?" Chico asked nervously.

"Yeah Chico, we got our bag you gave us with the change of clothes in it," Ed said.

"What's in here anyway. Can we see it? " Louie asked.

"No, No, don't open it now, you'll ruin the surprise!" Chico said frantically.

"Ok, ok!" each of them said.

They arrived at the chapel dressing room.

"Ok, you can open your bags now," Chico said anxiously.

Louie opened his bag. "You've got to be kidding Chico!"

Ed opened his bag. " I think I'm having a flash back.... I need a drink!"

Reverend Bemis opened his bag and peeked inside. "Oh Lord! This must be your punishment for my gambling!"

They all changed and headed for the Chapel.

Liz waited patiently for her cue to come in.

Ed, Louie, and Chico, wearing sequined outfits, walked in as the sound of the organ started to play.

"Oh my god!" Liz said as she walked down the aisle. She walked slowly so her headpiece wouldn’t fall.

"You guys make great looking Elvis's. " Liz couldn't keep from laughing.

Reverend Bemis, whose back was turned to everyone, turned around on cue and said,

"Ladies and Gentlemen, The Sands Hotel and Casino proudly welcomes Chico and Liz as they present themselves to the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley!"

Chico and Liz looked at each others costumes then looked at Ed, louie, and Reverend Bemis.

"Funky looking outfits," Chico said to Ed.

"Loooking Goood! " Chico said to Reverend Bemis.

"Thank you, We got ours at a discount from the Flying Elvis'," Reverend Bemis said.

"It looks good on you, Rev," he said with a wink and a nudge.

Reverend Bemis got ready to perform the ceremony.

"Do you, Chico Rodriguez Y Sanchez, take Liz Garcia to be your lawfully wedded wife? If so respond with I do."

Chico turned to Liz.

"You got it Momma! " Chico said with an Elvis tone.

"Do you, Liz Garcia, take Chico Rodriguez Y Sanchez to be your lawfully wedded husband? " Reverend Bemis said.

Liz turned to Chico. Liz, chewing on bubble gum, blew a big bubble and popped it.

"Ditto!" said Liz.

Ladies and Gentlemen, now for some special music. Pepe Fernando has prepared something special for the bride and groom."

Ed walked Pepe over by Liz and Chico.

"Chico and Liz before I begin the song, there's something I have to get off my chest," Pepe said.

"Oh no!" Chico thought. "He's gonna try to call off the wedding!"

Chico panicked as he fussed with his jump suit.

"Chico and Liz have been great friends and family to me. I hope that they have a love that will last forever," Pepe smiled.

Pepe began to sing his own version of Love Me Tender.

Chico leaned over to Liz

"For a minute there I thought he was going to call off the wedding," Chico whispered.

"You and me both Chico," Liz whispered.

Liz and Chico exchanged vows.

"By the power vested in me, by the state of Nevada, and the Chapel of Elvis Presley, I now pronounce you The King and Queen of Rock and Roll!" Reverend Bemis shouted with glee!

"Chico, I mean Elvis you may now kiss the bride!" Reverend Bemis raised his hands in praise.

Chico leaned over to Liz and gave her a long slow kiss.

"Ahem, ahem " Reverend Bemis said as patted Chico's arm.

"Show's over Chico, Liz.

Chico and Liz released from their kissing and gleamed from happiness.

"I love you," Chico and Liz said to each other.

"Thank you, Reverend Bemis," said Chico.

"Ah Chico, it’s a pleasure to perform such a sweet wedding such as this. Although I never thought I'd be dressed as Elvis though," Reverend Bemis said as he tugged on his belt.

"Well Rev that makes two of us," Chico said as he shook his hand. "I think if Pepe were able to see this, he would of been cracking up throughout his song". Chico said.

"Chico, Liz, I want to congratulate you on your wedding. You two look so happy together," Ed said as he hugged both of them.

"Yeah, Chico, you've made me so happy I could cry right now. You know I don't like to make a scene," Louie said.

Pepe called Chico and Liz over.

"I hope you two have a wonderful life together." Pepe shook Chico's hand and then hugged Liz.

Pepe wouldn't let go of Liz.

" I'm sorry Liz, I wish our time together would of meant something more then just business. You know I adored you," Pepe whispered.

Liz was trying to release from Pepe.

"Pepe, all things happen for a reason. Ours wasn't meant to be. You'll always be in my heart, You’re very special," Liz said.

Liz gave Pepe a kiss on the cheek, then Pepe released her.

"Is everything ok, Liz?" Chico asked.

"Yes, Chico, everything is fine. Pepe and I have an understanding," Liz reassured Chico.

Chico and Liz headed for the Bridal Suite.

"Ah, mi amore." Chico lifted Liz up and carried her through the door.

"Ah, I can't believe it Chico! Me, Mrs. Chico Rodriguez."

"Believe it Mama! " Chico approached her, kissed her and started to caress her.

"Mi amante brouica," Liz whispered in his ear.

Chico kissed her all over, lightly running his fingers down her spine. Liz gasped as Chico pleasured her.

Liz rubbed her hands all over Chico. Liz began to pleasure Chico as they lay on the bed. Chico began to squeal and squirm as he felt the heat of the moment.

"Mera mami linda oyeee!" Chico said to Liz. Liz went up to Chico and kissed him.

As they finished making love they hugged and kissed each other then fell asleep in each other’s arms.

Chapter 8

A knock came upon Chico and Liz's door.

"Who can that be so early in the morning?" they both said tiredly.

Chico and Liz threw on a robe and headed for the door.

"Good morning newlyweds!" said Louie.

"Say, how are the two love birds this morning?" Ed said.

"It's 5:00 am," Chico yawned.

"Why, you should have had time to sleep," Ed said.

"Say, whose up to go to the casino?" Reverend Bemis said as he rubbed his hands together.

"Hey Reverend Bemis how long has it been since you've been to confession?" Chico asked.

"Why Chico I went this morning. Why do you ask my son?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"I'm worried about you and your gambling Rev. I just don't want nothing bad to happen to you," Chico gripped his shoulder.

"You mean a lot to Liz and I " Chico said.

"Well thank you Chico, if anything were to go wrong which in this case it hasn't, I would have asked Ed If I could move into the van till things got better," Reverend Bemis reassured Chico.

"What? The van?" Ed said.

"Not to worry Ed. It won't happen," Reverend Bemis said.

Later Liz and Chico met Pepe for Brunch.

"Ah Liz, Chico, how was your first night together?" Pepe asked.

"Beautiful, Pepe!" Liz smiled at Chico.

"It was dyn-o-mite!" smiled Chico.

"Hey, I'll be right back, I'm gonna check out the buffet." Chico got up and left.

"So Liz? Did you think of me as you made love to Chico?" Pepe said.

"Pepe, how can you ask a question like that?" Liz blushed.

"No reason, I just thought you were reliving old times. You know, me making love to you". Pepe said as he held her hand.

"Shh, Chico will hear," Liz tried to quiet Pepe.

"Chico and I had a beautiful moment together Pepe," Liz whispered.

"Anything like ours?" Pepe asked.

Chico walked over to their table.

"Anything like what? " Chico said.

"Chico, when Liz and I were touring we had a thing going on," Pepe said.

"It’s all in the past Chico. Pepe means nothing to me anymore," Liz whispered in Chico's ear.

"Pepe, what you did with Liz on tour is history. Liz and I are in love in the present and in the future," Chico said.

"Thank you, cuz," Pepe said.

"No thank you Pepe, Liz is a part of the family now. Liz and I will be together even when we grow old and gray," Chico said as he smiled at Liz.

"Just imagine me old and gray, Chico," Liz said.

"Hello!" Chico hugged her.

"Another thing I wanted to bring up, Chico, is having all of you come and attend my last night here in Vegas. It will be a nice evening with everyone together," Pepe smiled.

"Please get a hold of Ed, Louie and the rev for me ok?" Pepe said.

"Oh Pepe, we will all enjoy your last show here. We will be looking forward to it," Liz said.

Chapter 9

Ed's phone rang.

"Hello, Chico! How nice to hear from you. Are you and Liz still married?" Ed said jokingly.

"Yes Ed," Chico sounded nervous.

"Pepe has invited us to his last show here at the hotel. Could you inform Louie and Reverend Bemis that they are to come too?" Chico said.

"Sure Chico, anything special happening that night?" Ed said.

"I'm sorry Ed it's a surprise. Only Pepe and I know. Liz doesn't have a clue either," Chico said secretly.

"Ok Chico, we will be in suspense till the show starts," Ed said as he hung up the phone.

Later that evening, Chico and Liz came to the hotel room.

"Ready to go?" Chico and Liz said

"Wow you guys look great ! All dressed up". Louie said.

"Why thank you, Louie " Liz said. "You look mighty fine yourself." Liz got a hold of Louie’s jacket.

Everyone gathered and headed towards the theater where Pepe was to perform.

"Wow! These are great seats," Louie said.

"Yes, I got them from Pepe," Chico said nervously.

"What's the matter Chico? You seem nervous," Ed said.

"Oh nothing Ed. Nothing at all," Chico said.

The house lights went down and the announcer presented Pepe.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, The Sands Hotel and Casino Proudly Welcome ... PEPE FERNANDO!"

The audience went wild.

Pepe began to sing. The audience began to scream and cheer.

Pepe looked over to Chico's table.

"Ladies and Gentlemen I just want to say it is an honor to perform for you tonight here at the Sands," Pepe said.

Pepe motioned Chico over.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, it gives me a special privilege to introduce to you someone I love dearly," Pepe smiled.

"Chico Rodriguez, ladies and gentlemen." Pepe stood back from the spotlight.

Chico got up from his chair and headed for the stage.

Chico did a little comedy and sang his own version of Light My Fire. He dazzled the crowd as he then sang Marvin Gaye’s Lets Get It On.

"Oh my!" Liz said. "That was beautiful." Liz was about to cry.

"Ladies and gentlemen," as Chico headed for Liz, "I just want to say how much I love my newly wedded wife. Liz Garcia Rodriguez, ladies and gentleman." Chico went to Liz as the spotlight followed him. "I love you," he whispered in her ear.

The crowd loved him as he finished his act. As Chico left he hugged Pepe. " They loved me out there!" Chico said to Pepe.

"Yes, Chico I always thought you were funny. I wanted you to have the spot light as a thank you for all you've done for me here." Pepe hugged Chico. "I also have something to ask of you Chico if you wouldn't mind." Pepe whispered in his ear.

Chico left and met with Ed, Louie, Liz and Reverend Bemis.

"Hey, that was great! I didn't know you could sing like that," Ed said.

"That was terrific Chico!" Louie and Reverend Bemis said.

"Ah my song bird, I love that Marvin Gaye song, Chico. Thank you." Liz kissed him.

"Good night everyone, see you all bright and early in the morning." Chico and Liz hugged everyone and went to the room.

Chapter 10

The morning came.

Everyone got up, packed their bags to head back home.

"You know Chico, it was a fabulous trip," Liz said.

"I never thought we'd get married here and be with your Cousin Pepe," Liz said.

"Yes Liz, I had a great time here," Chico said.

Chico hugged Liz for a long time

"Liz, I love you so much it hurts," Chico said.

Chico kept hugging her I wouldn't let her go.

"Chico, is there something wrong?" Liz asked.

Chico sat Liz down on the bed

"Liz, I just can’t get the words out with that I have here in my heart. Please hold me," Chico said.

Liz leaned over to Chico. They held each other, slowly caressing. Chico kissed Liz.

Chico couldn't keep it in any longer.

"Oh God, Liz, I have been invited by Pepe and their management to open up Pepe's act for the rest of Pepe's tour. Imagine me doing stand up for Pepe!" Chico said.

"What? Don't tell me your gonna sing too? Yeah, Chico, you were good, but you weren't Lou Rawls or somebody like that!" Liz came apart from Chico.

"Does this mean your not coming back home with the rest of us? What about me?" Liz became disappointed.

"Liz, I have been thinking about this since Pepe offered me the job," Chico said. "I told him I'd think about it".

"Liz, it was a thrill being on stage doing standup comedy. I know the singing has got to go."

Liz turned her back on Chico.

"I've always enjoyed making people laugh but my most priority is you Liz!" Chico tried to comfort her.

"Mera mami linda oyee!" Chico held out his hand.

Liz stayed where she was.

"Please Chico, I love you. Don't try to sweet talk me."

"What can I do to make you come back to me Chico " Liz begged.

Liz leaned over to Chico and passionately kissed him.

"I need you Chico". Liz was shaking from his scent and her desire for him. "Please don't leave me."

Chico caressed her as he kissed her.

"Ah, mi amore," Chico whispered.

Still in his mind he thought about Pepe's offer of doing stand up comedy.

"Are you ok, Chico? You seem distant." Liz looked in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Liz. I love you, but I had a great feeling come over me while I was on stage. It really felt good," Chico said.

"Are you changing your mind Chico? Are you going to travel with Pepe?" Liz cried. "I don't want to lose you."

Chico continued to hug Liz.

"Liz, if it means that much to you I will tell Pepe that I have decided to decline his offer. I'm sure he'll understand." Chico kissed Liz.

"Please don't be mad at me, Chico. I just didn't want anything bad happening to you, to us". Liz said.

"Well Liz, that's why I was hoping you'd be happy so you and I could be together. I understand now Liz and accept your feelings," Chico said.

Chico kissed Liz. "Thank you mi amor."

A knock came upon the door.

Liz opened the door.

"Hey Liz, Chico, all set to go?" Louie said.

Ed and Reverend Bemis were behind Louie.

"Yes Louie! All set" Chico said as he got their bags.

"Rosebud is already for her trip back. She's all warmed up," Louie said.

They all left the room and headed for the front desk.

Chico went to the hotel phone in the lobby and called Pepe's room.

"Pepe?" Chico said.

"Yes, Chico," said Pepe.

"Thank you for a wonderful time. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves," Chico said.

"Ah Chico, It was a pleasure spending time with everyone. I hope I didn't cause you any trouble with Liz and the gang," Pepe said.

"Ah Pepe, I'm sure it was a little hectic and crazy but deep down we had fun," Chico said.

"Well Pepe, I must be going, everyone is getting anxious to get home," Chico said.

" Ok. Chico, adios amigo!" Pepe hung up the phone.

Chico headed for Louie’s car.

"Ok everyone, we all set? " Louie said.

"Ok here," Ed said.

"Me too," Liz yawned

"I wanna go back to the casino. We got a little more time don't we? " Reverend Bemis asked.

"Rev!" everyone shouted.

"Ok, Ok, I'm ready. Geesh, what a man has to do to try to earn an extra buck!" Reverend Bemis said.

As Louie pulled out of the hotel entrance, Chico put his hands over the back of his head and leaned back. Chico thought about his vacation.

"Ah, it was a wonderful time," he thought. "Too bad it had to end so soon."

Chico thought about Pepe, then he turned to Liz.

"Thank you for making this the best time of my life."

Chico kissed her as they made there way back home.

Chapter 1

Louie pulled into the church parish driveway.

"Ah, home at last my children." Reverend Bemis and Louie got out of the car. Louie opened the trunk of Rosebud. Reverend Bemis leaned in the window near Chico and Liz.

"Chico, Liz you two have a wonderful life together! It was a pleasure performing your ceremony!"

"Ah Rev, we are so happy you were apart of our wedding."

Chico smiled and shook Reverend Bemis’ hand. Liz reached over and hugged Reverend Bemis.

Louie pulled out of the parking lot heading over to the garage.

"Well Chico, Mrs. Rodriguez! " Louie smiled with a big grin.

"I had a wonderful time and I know in my heart ole Rosebud enjoyed her trip also." Louie began to cry as he wiped his eyes.

"Now the hard part is, I have to put her out to pasture." Louie covered his eyes and bawled like a baby.

"Ah Louie, just think of the good times you've had her in Vegas!" Ed patted Louie’s back.

"I know Ed, say, Chico how about I let you have Rosebud, You can see what use you can make out of her."

Louie couldn't bear the thought of parting with Rosebud.

"With you under her care I know at least she’ll go peacefully," Ed said to Chico.

"You’re not gonna strip her and sell her for parts are you Chico?!" Louie shook his head.

"See what you did, Ed. Poor Louie is a wreck and you have to make a wise crack about it!"

"Louie, I'll make sure I'll take good care of Rosebud for you," Chico said as he hugged Louie.

Louie walked passed Rosebud with his bags.

Louie hugged Chico, Ed, and Liz and walked home sad shaking his head. "Oh poor poor Rosebud."

"Ah poor Louie!" Liz followed Chico to their apartment. Chico opened the door and sat their bags down by the door.

" Here we are mami, home at last!" Chico picked up Liz and carried through the doorway. "Welcome home Mrs. Rodriguez!" Chico lay her on the couch and kissed her.

"I really had a great time, Liz," Chico said as he unpacked their suitcase.

While Chico unpacked the suitcase he stumbled upon the program from Pepe’s appearances at the Sands Hotel and Casino. Chico stared at the program daydreaming of his appearance on stage with his cousin.

" Pepe, thank you for the opportunity. Too bad I can't be with you for the rest of the tour," Chico sighed as he flipped through the program. Inside was a picture of Chico and Pepe on stage that a publicity photographer took of them.

"Chico, we all had a great time, I'm sure you'll see Pepe again," Liz reassured Chico.

"Yeah Liz, you’re right someday we'll get together again." Chico hugged Liz. "Thank you."

"You know, we could go over to the church and reregister ourselves as Mr. and Mrs. Chico Rodriguez. I'm sure the members of the congregation will be happy of our marriage. I know of a few little old ladies will be upset that your not available anymore Chico," Liz smiled.

Chico went to hug Liz.

"You know Liz, my women chasing days are over." Chico got up from the couch.

"Except for chasing you of course." Chico chased Liz out of the apartment.

"Ahhhhhhhh Chico!" Liz shouted.

Liz and Chico headed over to the church to see Reverend Bemis.

Still chasing each other Chico and Liz ran inside the church looking for Reverend Bemis.

"Reverend Bemis?" Liz asked around.

"Hey Rev!" Chico shouted while looking for the Reverend Bemis

A parishioner cornered Chico. "He's not here. He went out of town."

"He left? All of us including the Rev just got back a early this morning," Chico said.

"Reverend Bemis mentioned something about doing research regarding his sermon series. He had to meet with a Reverend Baccarat he said," the parishioner said.

Chico and Liz looked at each other. "What? I never heard of a Reverend Baccarat. Chico?" Liz asked.

"Reverend Baccarat..." Chico looked puzzled then realized it.

"Reverend Bemis headed back to Vegas man!" Chico said. "We gotta go tell Ed!" Liz and Chico hurried back to the garage.

Ed smacking a carburetor heard the door slam. Ed looked over to see what the commotion was all about.

"Ed, Ed! Your not gonna believe it man!" Chico walked fast to Ed as Liz followed.

"What!" Ed said grumpily.

"Reverend Bemis isn't here! He left for Las Vegas," Chico said as Liz was behind him.

"Yeah Ed, he just up and left!" Liz said as she waved her arms.

"Rev told everyone he had to meet with someone by the name Reverend Baccarat regarding research for his sermon he was writing," Chico said as he nervously paced the floor.

"Gee, Chico, I would a thought he had enough research with all of his winnings he made!" Ed said.

"He had to buy another suit case just to take it all home." Chico shook his head in disbelief.

"What are you going to do Chico. Finding a room at this short of a notice will be impossible."

"I'm going to try to get a hold of Pepe. He's sticking around a few more days in Vegas."

Chico hurried over to the office and called Pepe. "Pepe Fernando’s room please..."

"Pepe! Hey hey how are you man?" Chico smiled.

"Good Chico, They've offered me more shows here at the Sands. I'm staying here longer then expected," Pepe replied.

"That's great, cuz."

"So are you still married Chico?" Pepe asked. "Did Liz finally give up and want to come back to me?" Pepe joked.

"No Pepe, We’re still married. Pepe we have a problem. We have reason to believe that Reverend Bemis is back in Las Vegas. He's not in town and we were told he was doing research with another Reverend that sounded suspicious."

"Ay, yi, yi Chico! Are you guys planning on coming back here to Vegas?" Pepe asked.

"Yeah but we’re afraid we’re not gonna find a room so soon," Chico said.

"Don't worry Chico, just get yourself packed up and I'll take care of the rest. I'm assuming it will be the four of you again?" Pepe replied.

"Yeah, we'll all go together." Chico said.

"Ok Chico, it will be great to get together again. Let me know when you get in."

Chico left to look for Ed and Louie.

As Liz finished packing Chico looked for Ed and Louie.

"ED! Pepe is finding us a room back at the Sands. Since he's staying there longer he said it will be no problem," Chico said.

'Well, I supposed it wouldn’t be a problem Chico, just don't let Reverend Bemis get to you. We'll have a good time again," Ed said.

"You and Liz can have your second honeymoon!" Ed smiled.

"Hello!" Chico smiled.

"This time I plan on winning a lot more money!" Ed smiled "I'll get a hold of Louie and have him meet us tomorrow so we can head back"

"Well, Louie will be glad to have Rosebud with him for a little while longer."

Chico cornered Liz at the apartment. "Pack your bags Mama, we're going back to Vegas!"

"What? I just spent all this time unpacking Chico! Ay amio Chico. When are we leaving? Where are we staying? How are we going to find a hotel in this short notice!" Liz ran around the apartment to find more clothes to pack.

Although with the circumstances, Chico was happy to be returning to Vegas.

Liz and Chico finished packing and loaded up Rosebud. "Wait here I'm going to call Louie and let him know what’s going on."

Suddenly Louie walked in the garage carrying suitcases.

Chico picked up the receiver and looked at Louie walking in.

"Wow! That was quick! Louie what are you doing with your suitcases?" Chico asked. Ed headed over to Chico and Louie.

"Ah Ed, Chico. I've been whining like a baby since I parted with Rosebud, my wife kicked me out because all I talked about was poor poor rosebud." Louie shook his head back and forth.

"Well Louie," Ed smiled and put his arm around him. " How would you like to go on another road trip with Rosebud?"

"You mean it Ed?" Louie smiled.

"Yeah Louie. You, me, Liz and Chico."

"Say Ed, have you seen Reverend Bemis? I was gonna see him for a place to stay but he's nowhere to be found?" Louie asked.

"Have you tried looking at any casinos Louie?" Chico said as he threw his rag in the can.

"Casinos? Why, he made a killing in Vegas, Chico," Louie said.

"You s'pose that's where he is?" Louie asked.

"It's possible, that's why we’re heading back to Vegas, Louie," Ed said.

"Ah, and I thought it was because you enjoyed our trapeze act that Ed, Reverend Bemis, and I were involved in."

"Hey Ed, maybe that's why he came back!" Louie laughed.

"Are you kidding Louie he was as paranoid as we both were on that high wire." Ed reached over and grabbed a bottle behind the can.

"Say Chico, are you making more of that de-licious brew of yours? euwweee! That sure was something else!" Louie asked.

"Yeah Louie, it's in the bottle as we speak," Chico smiled.

"Oh brother, I have to have my window open again when he brings that stuff with us," Ed said.

"Now Ed that's not my fault your stomach can't handle it," Louie said.

"Well, everyone are we all set?" Chico asked as they got to the car.

Louie smiled as he got behind the wheel. "Ah Rosebud we meet again! I just knew we could never part. Now take us to Vegas!" Louie started the car, backed out of the garage.

"Here everyone I made us something to eat on the way," Liz said as she passed out some sandwiches.

"Thanks Liz! " Louie said.

"Thanks Liz." Chico kissed her.

Louie cruised the roadways as he got closer to Vegas. "Ah memories!" Ed said. "As long as they got there bar stocked up I'll be a happy man!"

"Hey, there’s the Sands!" Louie shouted.

Liz smiled. "Ah to relive that special moment, ah Chico!"

"Hello!" Chico winked.

Louie pulled in, everyone got there bags and checked in.

"We have reservations through Pepe Fernando!" Chico said.

"Hold let me check please... Yes, here you are." The desk clerk handed them their keys.

"Ed, we're heading to our room then we are hitting the tables!" Chico said as he held Liz’s hand.

"I'm right behind you! After we get settled in I'm going to the bar," Ed said.

Chico dialed Pepe’s room.

"Hello?" Pepe answered.

"Pepe! We're here!" Chico said.

"That's great Chico! You have a great time, I promise there will be no more hoodlum chasing anymore," Pepe laughed.

"You know seeing that you’re back, if you would like to... You know, if you want to do any of your stand up?" Pepe asked.

"Would I? Pepe, I would love too. The question is though would Liz mind? I mean it's not like I'm going to make a career out if it. I don't think she'll have a problem with that?"

Chico thought it over.

"You know what? I'd love to Pepe! Let me know what night to perform so I can prepare something real good for your show." Chico sounded excited.

Liz went behind Chico. "What sounds so exciting Chico?"

"Ah nothing Liz. Pepe and I are chatting about old times."

"Come on Mama let's get to our room so we can hit the tables!" Chico, Liz headed to their room. Ed and Louie headed to their rooms also.

Chapter 2

Everyone headed to their rooms and unpacked. "Ready Chico? I feel like rolling some dice again!" Liz said.

"Remember when we first rolled the dice together Liz?" Chico embraced her.

"Yeah, who would of thought throwing dice would lead to us getting married, Chico."

Liz smiled.

"Liz you rolled yourself a winning pair! Actually you threw the dice on the table then we left to hunt everyone down about us going to get hitched."

"I'm sure I rolled a pretty good one, Chico," Liz smiled.

"Yeah Liz, I'm sure you did. You ended up winning me!" Chico grinned.

"Oh Chico!" Liz whacked Chico on the arm.

Chico and Liz left for Ed and Louie’s room. Ed and Louie were heading out of there room when they spotted Liz and Chico.

Ed rubbed his hands together. "I'm ready to hit the poker tables Louie!"

"Well I got an itching for poker too Ed," Louie said.

"Hey Chico! " Louie smiled. "I'm ready to break the bank!"

"Who's bank Louie? Yours or the casinos?" Chico smiled as they all headed towards the casino.

Chico spotted a marquee poster for Pepe Fernando.

"Hey look! It's Cousin Pepe! Looking Good!" Chico smiled as he pointed to Pepe’s picture.

"It's great that he'll be here for a few more shows. It will be nice to see him again," Liz said.

Chico, Liz, Ed and Louie headed inside the casino.

"Ah the sound I love to hear!" Ed said.

"What's that Ed? The slot machines?" Louie asked.

"No, Louie the sound of someone pouring a Bourbon! Hey waitress gimme a bourbon!" Ed flagged a waitress over.

"Hey, hey, let's get over here. There’s some tables open for blackjack Ed!" Chico smiled as he pointed to the tables.

"Lead the way Chico!" Ed followed Chico.

Chico, Liz, Ed and Louie all found seats at the blackjack table.

The dealer dealt each their cards.

"Alright honey baby gimme a good card!" Chico said as he eagerly waited for his cards.

"Ay, yi, yi!" Chico said.

Liz smiled as she received hers.

Ed looked at his cards then made a face of fear.

Louie smiled with some hope after receiving his.

They received their next set of cards.

Chico looked up and pleaded with the dealer. "Oh please gimme a good card!"

"Chico, I won, I won!" Liz jumped up and down.

Pepe approached Liz from behind after hearing Liz raise her voice.

"What's all the commotion about?" Pepe asked.

Liz turned around Pepe was behind her.

"Pepe, I won, I won!" Liz smiled.

"I see I arrived just in time for you to claim your prize!" Pepe smiled.

"Pepe!" Chico smiled.

"You know Liz, anything adding up with you makes a winning pair," Pepe smiled.

Chico with a big grin adjusted his collar leaned over hugged as he kissed Liz after hearing Pepe’s remark.

"Hey hey cuz, it's great to see you again!" Chico got up from his chair and hugged Pepe.

"I'm glad you could make it Chico," Pepe smiled.

"Hello Ed, Louie!" Pepe smiled.

"Well hello Pepe!" Louie grinned.

"Pepe, how are you!" Ed smiled patted Pepe’s shoulder.

"Thanks Pepe, there's so many people here. You never know who you'll bump into." Chico smiled.

"Yeah, there's a lot of celebrities here Chico," Pepe smiled.

"Celebrities! Ahh, just imagine bumping into one." Liz with her eyes wide-open shivered in delight.

"Ah Pepe, now you got Liz all excited!" Chico said.

"Is that all it takes Chico?" Pepe asked.

Liz whacked Pepe. "You know it Pepe!" Liz fanned herself with her hands.

Pepe tugged on Chico’s shoulder and pulled Chico aside. "So Chico is it ok?"

"Shh, Pepe she doesn't know yet. I'll let you know," Chico whispered in Pepe’s ear.

"Hey Chico I'm going to the ladies room to freshen up a bit." Liz got out of her chair and hugged Chico.

"Ah Liz, I bet you’re still cute as ever!" Pepe smiled as Chico looked at Pepe sniffing Liz’s perfume.

"Ed, Louie, Liz doesn't know yet but Pepe has offered me another chance to perform some comedy for his opening act again," Chico said as he looked at his cards.

"That's great Chico!" Louie smiled.

"How did you manage that Chico?" Ed asked.

"Well Ed, when Pepe offered me a chance the last time we were here. Hearing the applause I got from opening up for Pepe, I really enjoyed it. The crowd seemed to like me too. Liz didn't like the idea of me wanting to touring with Pepe though."

"I don't blame her Chico, after all you two are newlyweds," Ed said.

"Ed, Louie, please don't say anything to Liz. Ok?" Chico pleaded.

"No problem, Chico." Louie smiled.

"Here Chico, Ed, Pepe. Have a cigar on me!" Louie smiled as he lit his up and leaned over to Ed and Chico to light theirs.

Liz left the ladies room and heading back to the casino walked towards the bar.

"Miss," the bartender motioned to her.

"Yes?" Liz pointing to herself looked over to the bartender who called her.

"There are two gentlemen over here who want to buy you a drink. What will you have?" The bartender pointed to there direction.

Liz looked around the low-lit area. Liz couldn't make out who they were.

"Um, I'll have a Gin n' Tonic," Liz replied.

"Good choice babee," a voice came from the other side of the bar.

"What?" Liz, hearing a familiar voice, walked closer to make out who it was. Liz looked around, wasn't sure if that was who she had seen.

"This must be your night off?"

Liz blinked her eyes couldn't believe it.

"Excuse me?" Liz tried to get herself together.

"Well, you look like one of the showgirls I use in my act, babee."

"I'm sorry I'm not a showgirl, Mr. Sinatra."

"Please call me Frank, Miss..." Frank extended his hand to hers as he gracefully lifted it up to kiss her hand.

"Liz, Liz Garcia Rodriguez." Liz gripped Frank’s hand as she stared in his sparkling eyes.

"Oh so I'm too late to ask you to marry me, Miss Liz," a voice came from a silhouette of smoke behind Frank.

Liz looked passed Frank to see a tall dark haired Italian approach her.

"Say how about a drink honey, ah nuts Frank beat me to it," Dean said as he held his glass of scotch.

Dean smiling, leaned on the bar eyed his drink as he held it up. "Now Liz, I don't drink anymore. I freeze it now and eat it like a popsicle."

Liz laughed.

"You look like you had a few drinks to many Deano" Frank said.

"Ah Liz, never mind Frank. You know a drink never hurt nobody."

Dean walked up closer to Liz.

"Now just remember the great words of Mister Joe Lewis. Your not drunk if you can lay on the floor without holding on."

Dean smiled, raised it up as a cheer, and then sipped his drink.

"Dean, Liz says she's not a showgirl." Frank smiled as he nudged Dean.

"What? I don't believe it." Dean shook his head in disbelief.

"Well we'll see about that sweet cakes," Frank said as he smacked Liz on her behind.

"Me, a showgirl? " Liz looking up imagined herself as a showgirl.

"I always pictured myself as a dental hygienist, but a showgirl?"

"Yeah, sweet cakes you got potential, babee," Frank smiled.

"Yeah and the figure to go with it too," Dean said.

"I don't think my husband will approve though."

"Hey Liz, who has to know? Have it be a surprise, babee." Frank, smiling, sipped his drink.

"Well fellas, I'll have to think it over. Besides my husband and our friends are probably wondering where I am right now. Mr. Sinatra, Mr. Martin, it was a pleasure meeting you both." Liz smiled and hugged them.

"Believe me, Liz darling the pleasure is all mine." Dean said as he leaned against the bar smoking a cigarette.

"Liz, trust me you'll make a dynamite attraction. You oughta consider it, babee!" Frank casually waved good bye as he put out his cigarette.

Liz headed back to the blackjack tables looking for Chico.

"Hi Chico, how are you doing?" Liz asked.

"I'm barely hanging on," Chico replied.

"Say Liz, where you've been?" Louie asked.

"I, I was just mingling with a few people at the bar. I bumped into Frank and Dean," Liz shyly said.

"You seen Frank and Dean? Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin?" Chico asked.

"Yeah Chico, we had an interesting conversation. They had a kooky idea that I was a showgirl or something?" Liz tried to just brush off the conversation by making it boring.

"Hello," Chico smiled. "Liz, I can see you as my personal showgirl!" Chico winked as he leaned over to kiss her.

Liz sat next to Chico as they continued to play blackjack. Suddenly someone approached Ed.

"Would you mind if I join you cats in a round?"

Ed threw in more chips while hearing a familiar voice. "No, go right ahead. Ah, we aren't doing well anyway, Chico let's do another round then call it a day," Ed said grumpily.

"Yeah right Ed. Your hind end will be planted on this seat all day!" Louie said.

"Chico?!?" The voice said as he watched Ed toss his chips.

"Ed? Ed Brown? What brings you to this neck of the woods?" Sammy said.

Ed turned around. "Oh no, not you again!"

Chico looked shocked.

Louie shouted with glee. "HEY IT"S THE CANDY MAN!"

Sammy covered his head out of embarrassment.

"Sammy Davis Jr.!" Chico said. "Let me shake your hand. I love you man!"

Chico shaking Sammy’s hand watched Sammy bounce up and down from Chico’s firm handshake.

"Hey listen Ed, I can't stay and chat I have to get ready for my act at the Theater. I'm performing here along with Frank, Dean, and some fella name Pepe Fernando."

"That some fella is my cousin man!" Chico stood up smiling and proudly protested.

"You’re related to Pepe Fernando? I had no idea. Were you an orphan, Chico?" Sammy asked.

"No. Why?" Chico asked.

"Well, I mean after hearing you and Pepe sing. I just figured you two came from different Villages or something?" Sammy said.

"That's because no one has discovered my talent yet! You should hear my wife Liz sing. Oh she sings so beautiful!" Chico said as he smiled thinking about her singing.

"Please Chico, don't remind me! I'm still recovering from the morning she woke us up with her singing! I still have that ringing in my ears," Ed said as he dug into his ear with his finger.

"Hey Chico, I'll keep that in mind. Listen I gotta split or Frank will have my head on a platter. See you cats later!" Sammy waved as he backed his way out.

"See you later Candyman!" Louie grinned, stood, and shouted.

"Well, I don't know about you but I'll going up to our room Chico," Liz said.

"Hey, wait a minute mami, I'll join you," Chico said as made his way around to her.

"Good Chico, you can help me decide what to wear for dinner tonight," Liz smiled.

"I can think of several things you can where to dinner, Liz." Chico hugged her from behind.

Chico and Liz headed to elevator to go to there room.

"So, you really got to talk to Frank and Dean?" Chico asked as he pressed the button for the elevator.

"Yeah Chico, I didn't believe it was Frank asking for me till I seen his face," Liz smiled.

"I can't believe he thought I was a showgirl. Me, a showgirl!" Liz twirled her body as she waved her arms to flatter her figure.

"I can believe it Mama! You’re my very own showgirl." Chico, hugging Liz, kissed her on the lips.

Chico looked up to see what floor the elevator was. "Gee, this elevator is long... Oh I spoke too soon."

The elevator opened up. Inside were Frank, Dean, and behind them was Reverend Bemis.

"Reverend Bemis so this is where you've been hiding!" Chico said.

"You know the Rev?" Frank said using his thumb to point to Reverend Bemis.

"Yeah, he was with us the last time we went to Vegas. Reverend Bemis married Liz and I in the Elvis chapel."

"You mean, you had a wedding and never invited us Rev? Ah Rev, babee that's not good. I would of loved to see Liz walk down the aisle." Frank winked at Liz.

Liz blushed at Franks remarked.

"Sorry Frank! I’ll make it up to you." Reverend Bemis, Dean and Frank left the elevator.

Chico pulled Reverend Bemis aside. "Rev, are you in any trouble with them?"

"No, no everything is perfectly fine with Frank and Dean."

Reverend Bemis ran to catch up with Frank and Dean as they left the elevator.

"I wouldn't worry about them Chico, Reverend Bemis seems to be ok. Maybe he forgot something when we left. Came back, then decided to stick around a few more days," Liz tried to reassure Chico.

"Yeah, your right Liz, Well at least we can now spend some time alone in our Hotel room till we meet them again for dinner." Chico hugged her. "I love you Liz."

"I love you too Chico."

As they waited for the elevator to open up Liz's mind wandered about Frank and Dean insisting she was a showgirl. Liz thought about the possibility of becoming one.

Chico’s mind wondered about doing stand up again for Pepe in front of a live audience. Chico smiling at Liz imagined he was hearing the cheers and applause of the audience.

Chapter 3

Chico and Liz arrived at their room. "Honey, I don't know about you, but I’m beat." Chico sat on the bed and kicked his shoes off.

"Me too Chico." Liz lay down beside him.

"What you are going to do with your winnings, Liz?" Chico asked as he hugged her.

"Oh Chico, I haven't a clue." Liz smiled and kissed Chico as they brushed each other’s hair back.

"You can use that money to go to school like you've always wanted too Liz? I'm sure what you won could cover some of it?" Chico thought.

Liz toyed with the idea of her becoming a dental hygienist.

"Maybe so Chico, who knows something else come up too." Liz dozed off in Chico’s arms as well as did Chico on Liz’s arms.

An hour later a knock was heard on the door.

Liz and Chico woke up. "Who can that be?" Liz asked.

Chico looked at his watch. "It's not dinnertime yet, I imagine Ed and Louie are still in the casino."

Chico opened the door. A bellhop had a package with him.

"Can I help you?" Chico asked as he opened the door half way.

"I have a gift for a Liz Garcia-Rodriguez," said the bellhop.

Liz rose out of bed. "What? A gift for me? Who's it from? Look how huge it is Chico!" Liz smiled excitedly.

"It's from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin!" The Bellhop said. "I was told by both Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra to deliver this to you personally."

The bellhop rolled the big wrapped box in the hotel room.

"Thanks." Chico rolled the huge box over to Liz. "You got a gift from Frank and Dean? What could be in this big crate?" Chico asked.

"Yeah, Chico, here is the card. Ay, yi, yi, this is sure a huge box." Liz gave Chico the card that was with the gift box.

"To Liz, This might spark up some interest to what we talked about at the bar. Love, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin," Chico said as he read the card.

Chico looked at Liz funny. "What is in here that could spark up any interest Liz?" Chico wondered as he shook the box.

"Let me open it up Chico and we'll find out. I love gifts especially big ones! What could of they have sent me? " Liz moved the box around to find the opening.

Liz quickly ripped open the wrapping paper and opened the flap that enclosed the box.

"OHHH!" Liz said covering her mouth as she took out each item that was hung up on the rack inside the crate.

"What is it... Hello! A showgirls outfit!?" Excited about what Liz got, Chico smiled.

Liz put the rhinestone and sequined top of the outfit against her.

"Well what do you think Chico?" Liz smiled.

Chico making eye contact on the sequined top made a face of eagerness.

"What else is in the box?" Chico excitedly reached in the box to find a big head piece that had rhinestones, sequins and big flowing feathers on it that went with the outfit.

Chico put it on his head. "Mami, what do you think?" Chico winked.

"Oh it's you, definitely you, Chico," Liz laughed.

"Try it on for me Liz. Please?! Please!?" Chico begged sitting on the bed bounced up and down.

Liz held the top against her. "Well.... If you insist."

"I insist, I insist!" Chico quickly rose off the bed and dragged Liz into the bathroom to change.

"Let me know when your ready, mami!" Chico hollered as he sat back down on the bed anxiously waiting to see Liz.

Liz got her high heels and started to put each shiny garment on her.

A few minutes went by. "Ok Chico, I’m ready!"

Chico rose up from the bed and began to talk and make gestures of Ed Sullivan.

"Ladies and Gentleman, on our stage here making her showgirl debut from

a little cow town in Puerto Rico where she entertained 400 of her relatives. The unforgettable.... What’s the kid’s name? Liz Garcia-Rodriguez ladies and Gentlemen!"

Chico made cheering noises as he bowed facing Liz. Liz tried to get out of the bathroom with her big headpiece on.

"Ay! My headpiece!" Liz had to duck to get out of the doorway from the bathroom.

Liz adjusted her outfit and her headpiece. Liz slowly strolled over to Chico using the feather shawl like garment teasingly fanning Chico with it.

"Sonamagun!" Chico smiled as he whistled at Liz. "Dance for me, mami!"

Liz, with her back facing Chico, wiggled in front of Chico with her huge tail feathers hanging from the back of her head piece. Chico felt the feathers against his face as she wiggled the back of her head in front of him.

"Can you just imagine me as a showgirl Chico?" Liz smiled as she turned around and faced him. Liz kicked her legs high in the air.

Chico got up and put his arm around her and joined in with her as he kicked his legs up high also.

"Liz, you look gorgeous! That rhinestone sequined outfit makes you look hot, mama. How did they know that the white and yellow feathers were my favorite color on you." Chico hugged Liz.

"Just imagine Liz, you’re my own personal showgirl!" Chico winked stopped his footing and kissed her.

"You look so sexy with this on Liz. You know what I want to do?"

Chico waved to his direction near the bed. "Come on sugardaddy’s got a sweet tooth!" Chico eagerly said as the phone rang.

"Hold that thought Mama, I better answer that." Chico grabbed the phone.

"Hello? Yes, she's here just a moment."

"Liz, it's Frank Sinatra." Chico, shocked, handed the phone to Liz.

"Hello?" Liz tried to put the phone over her headpiece.

"Liz, babee! This is Frank. Did you get the gift from Dean and I?" Frank said.

"Oh yes Frank, I love it, so does my husband. Thank you!" Liz was a nervous wreck talking on the phone.

"That's dynamite Liz. Say how about you and Chico come down to the bar where you met Dean and myself . You can show it off for Dean and me sweet cakes!"

"Chico, Frank wants us to come down and have me show it off to them at the bar!" whispered Liz who was still shocked yet smiled.

"I don't know Liz. I mean I love it when you walk around like that in front of me. But to everyone else in the hotel?" Chico cringed at the thought.

Chico started to feel uncomfortable about Liz going out in the outfit.

"Ah come on Chico, it's the least I can do for Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. After all they went out of their way to get this for me?" Liz begged.

"Ok Liz, just this once." Chico gave in to Liz’s plea.

"Ok Frank, we'll be there in about 10 minutes." Liz hung up the phone.

Chico opened the door and Liz carefully went out the door.

"Chico, this is exciting!" Liz said. Chico put his arm around her as they made their way down the hallway.

Chico looked at Liz in her outfit and high heels as they made there way to the elevator.

"She does look sexy in it. Yet all these guys are staring at my Liz!" Chico thought as he struggled with mixed emotions regarding Liz in her showgirl outfit.

Chico pressed the button for the Lobby and waited for there arrival.

As the elevator made it's arrival. Chico kissed Liz as he gawked up and down at Liz’s sparkling outfit. "Looking Good!" Chico shook his head.

The elevator opened. Liz carefully went out as Chico followed. Chico extended his arm out for Liz’s and walked towards the bar where she met Frank and Dean.

"This is where you met Frank and Dean?" Chico asked Liz.

"Yeah, when I was walking by, they were near the back of the bar. I couldn't see them but they sure found me," Liz whispered

Liz and Chico entered the bar as everyone stared at Liz. Everyone smiled at Liz and Chico.

Chico looked at all the men staring at Liz.

"This seems a bit uncomfortable don't you think Liz?" Chico whispered in her ear.

"Liz?..." Chico tried to get her attention. Liz was smiling, gleaming with happiness.

"Liz, over here babee." Frank motioned Liz over to where he and Dean where sitting.

"Doll, you look fabulous!" Dean smiled as he sipped his drink leaned over and kissed Liz on the cheek.

Chico couldn't believe what he was witnessing. "I can't believe I'm here with Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Liz in her Showgirl outfit. Showgirl outfit? Ay yi yi!"

Liz twirled around in her outfit as Chico eyed Dean and Frank watching her.

"Well sweet cakes does this help in your decision any?" Frank asked.

"Decision?" Chico pulled Liz back.

"Yeah, Chico, remember at the blackjack tables I mentioned that they thought I was a showgirl. When I told them I wasn't, they were insisting I become one," Liz said.

"You’re not serious are you?" Chico asked.

"Well Chico the thought had crossed my mind," Liz said without Frank and Dean hearing.

"Well Liz, seeing that this is some what of a surprise. I've decided to take up Pepe’s offer to do standup for his shows here while we are in Vegas." Chico said as he folded his arms in authority.

"Chico, I had a feeling that's what you and Pepe were discussing about at the blackjack tables. That isn't why I wanted to do this Chico. I've always wanted to be a showgirl. But my sister always picked on me about it."

"Your sister the nun?" Chico asked.

"I thought it had to do about your singing Liz?"

"Yeah Chico, I would sing and dance around the house like a showgirl. She mentioned something about me being tone deaf and uncoordinated."

"Please don't be mad Chico," Liz said.

"I'm not mad, just shocked that you really wanted to do this I guess. Believe me Liz, you’re not uncoordinated." Chico said,

"So you’re not mad? " Liz said.

"No, go tell Frank and Dean. It’s ok. Who knows I might like it." Chico slightly smiling gave in to Liz.

Liz hugged Chico and thanked him.

Dean walked up behind Chico and Liz putting his arms around them.

"Frank asked me to come over, HE told me to come over to see what the verdict was regarding Liz," Dean smiled.

"Dean. I'll do it! I'll be a showgirl!" Liz smiled raised her hands in the air and wiggled her body.

"That's great Doll!" Dean hugged Liz.

"That's the spirit babee!" Frank hugged Liz and shook Chico’s hand. "Thanks Chico you wont regret this!"

"Well Liz shall we?" Frank extended his arm for Liz’s hand to grasp a hold, Dean extended his arm also.

"Let's go show off the goods babee!"

Frank, Liz, and Dean walked out of the bar arm in arm towards the Casino where Ed and Louie were. Chico followed them from behind.

As Chico followed them out of the bar he noticed Pepe by the elevator.

"Pepe!" Chico nudged him.

"Hey Chico, what's going on? I was hearing some ooing and ahhing near the bar?" Pepe asked.

"Pepe, you’re not going to believe this but Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin got Liz to become a Vegas showgirl!" Chico said.

"REALLY? I'd love to see that Chico!" Pepe moving forward tried to go find Liz as Chico stopped him.

"LIZ!" Pepe yelled as Chico pulled him back.

"Shhh, well I'm really not all that fond of it Pepe. I mean Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin got her the outfit as a gift to leer her into it. I told her about the gig you've given me to perform. I also mentioned it to her that I was taking it because of her decision on becoming a showgirl."

"Was she mad Chico?" Pepe asked.

"Not really, just shocked I guess. She kind of suspected it when we talked at the blackjack tables any way."

Chico and Pepe heard laughter coming from there direction. "That sounds like Dean Martin’s laugh Chico," Pepe asked.

"Yep, your right Pepe..." Chico seen Liz with Franks arm casually over her shoulder as Liz held his hand that was around her laughing and smiling.

"Here Liz, I'm going to introduce you to a few people." Frank said as they continued to walk away from Chico and Pepe.

"Ay yi yi! Pepe, I hope I didn't make a mistake with this. I better go!" Chico grasped Pepe’s hand and said good bye.

Frank, Liz, and Dean walked into the casino. "Liz, honey your a natural! Everyone loves you baby," Dean said.

Liz, Dean, and Frank walked over to the tables near where Ed and Louie were.

"Hey Ed, lookie over there!" Louie motioned Ed towards Liz's direction. "Ewwie! Liz is all dressed up as a showgirl!" Louie smiled.

"Louie sit down. Your just trying find ways to get me not to win!" Ed said.

"Ed, take a look over there. Guess who she's with too?" Louie smiled.

"Ah Louie, cut it out!" Ed got up looked and did a double take. "Oh Chico isn't gonna like this at all!"

"Do you think he knows?' Louie asked.

"He sure does! He's right behind them. He's trying to look happy but I can tell he's miserable about it." Ed said.

"Chico!" Louie yelled as he waved him over.

"Shh! Louie." Chico jogged over to Ed and Louie.

"I see Liz is the main attraction for everyone today."

"Don't remind me." Chico said as he scoped over to where Liz was.

"What brought all this about?" Ed said.

"Ed, when Liz told me earlier that she walked by the bar and was motioned by Frank and Dean. They thought she was a showgirl in one of their acts. When they found out that it wasn’t true, they talked her into it by getting her that outfit."

"I first thought Liz was kidding Ed, Louie."

Chico pointed to outfit Liz was wearing.

"Now, Chico, you can't tell me she don't look good in that outfit?" Louie said.

"Yeah Chico, that's some outfit." Ed said as he followed Liz’s movements.

"I know Ed, Louie, she looks gorgeous in it. When she wears it for me. But when She shows it off to everyone else especially to Frank, Dean, and who ever else is well known here it makes me kinda..."

"Are you jealous Chico?" Ed said.

Chico sighed looked at Liz. "I'm afraid I'm going to lose her Ed."

"Chico, I remember when you were all gung ho about doing your standup for Pepe here. Liz is experiencing the same thing Chico. It's a faze that once she's experienced it, it will be over."

"Let's hope so Ed, for Chico’s sake," Louie said still watching Liz, Frank and Dean.

"Trust me Chico, let her have her fun while she's here. I'm sure Frank and Dean won’t let nothing bad happen to her," Ed said.

Chapter 4

Reverend Bemis left his room as he was heading to the chapel. Reverend Bemis couldn't understand what Frank Sinatra wanted with him. Reverend Bemis had grown a liking to Frank’s career but as a partner he didn't understand.

Reverend Bemis knelt down on the pew kneeler as he heard someone sit down next to him. Reverend Bemis turned to look who it was, he then jerked in shock.

"FRANK! What are you doing here?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"Paying my respects to man upstairs, Padre," Franks said quietly.

"Sorry Frank, I wasn't expecting you here."

"Why, Rev babee, Why so jumpy?" Frank asked.

"Well, since we're both here. I've had the impression that I am being followed by some creepy looking hoodlums. I mean ever since that incident in Pepe Fernando’s show when Ed, Louie and myself were pushed into the spotlight to do some trapeze act, I've been kinda jittery!"

Reverend Bemis kept looking around his back for someone.

"Rev, I saw that act! That was magnificent babee!" Frank patted Reverend Bemis on his back.

"Why are you still jumpy Rev, that's over and done with?"

Frank puffed from a cigarette. "Were you scared of heights?" Frank asked.

"Are you kidding? That was exhilarating! I never felt so close with God, Frank!" Reverend Bemis lit up with happiness.

"Rev, every time I see you, your running like you're being chased by the Devil. What gives?"

"Well, it's like this, ever since that appearance, the real Flying Elvis's have been after me for taking their places that evening."

"I really enjoyed it Frank! It was so thrilling being so high in the air like that!"

"Maybe I can help you get back into the Flying Elvis’s again Rev?" Frank puffed on his cigarette.

"I thought if I go back and talk to them, they would understand. Frank, I want so badly to hit the casino and play but I'm afraid they'll track me down and find me. That's why when I found you and your group of guys. I thought I could fit in and not be noticed!"

Reverend Bemis nervously rubbed his hands.

"I also heard you were making a killing at the Roulette table Rev," Frank said leaning forward towards Reverend Bemis.

"I thought maybe that was why I was being followed also Frank. Since I almost broke the bank."

"How much did you win Reverend?" Franks asked.

"A lot of money Frank," Reverend Bemis smiled.

"Are we talking telephone number?" Frank asked.

"With an area code Frank!" Reverend Bemis smiled.

"Who would a thought I would find a chip on the floor and make a killing after that Frank. I wanna go back there and play some more!"

Reverend Bemis nervously stomped his feet and tapped on the top of the pew in front of him.

"Well Rev, babee, I'm going to get in touch with a few people I know and see what I can do to protect you."

"You mean it Frank?" Reverend Bemis smiled.

"Yeah, you've kept Dean, and me pretty much under control. Besides I want to see you in that trapeze act again, Rev babee. It's the least I can do."

"Hey maybe you can round up those other fellas you were with in that act. That was a real ring ding Reverend," Frank said as he puffed on his smoke.

"Thank you Frank! Thank you!" Reverend Bemis fell down to his knees on the floor and hugged Frank’s legs.

"Hey take it easy Rev, I have reputation you know."

Reverend Bemis got up on his knees. "Sorry Frank!"

"Reverend? Thank you!" Frank bent down and patted Reverend Bemis on his back and left the chapel.

Reverend Bemis said a prayer of thanks for he left the chapel.

"Oh, thank you Lord, for fellas like Frank!"

Reverend Bemis looked around to see if anyone was coming in.

"Now, if you could just let me win one more time I'd be forever grateful. AMEN!"

Reverend Bemis raised his hand and gave God the thumbs up then left to go to the casino.

Reverend Bemis seemed more at ease now that he talked to Frank and got it out of his chest.

"Now, where shall I begin!" Reverend Bemis picked up the pace as he rubbed his hands in eagerness to get to the Casino.

Reverend Bemis came across the blackjack tables when he stumbled into Ed talking to Liz who he hadn't known was a showgirl.

"Ed? Ed Brown what are you doing flirting with that Showgirl..."

Liz turned around facing Reverend Bemis. "Rev? It's me Liz? I'm a showgirl now!"

Liz smiled and hugged Reverend Bemis. "I'm surprised at you Liz? I imagine Chico has had his share of private showings already."

"Where is Chico anyway?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"He's with Pepe going through some material for his stand up routine," Liz smiled.

"I thought you weren't too thrilled about that Liz?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"Yeah well he wasn't too fond of me being a showgirl either. Frank Sinatra made him come around. So Chico and I made a deal. We can’t complain about what each of us are doing here. Besides Frank said he'd keep an eye on me."

"Just be careful with Frank and Dean. They can be a couple of sweet talkers. Soon they'll be asking you to relocate to Vegas, Liz!" Reverend Bemis said.

"Oh Rev, I'll be ok!" Liz smiled.

"I'll keep an eye on Liz too, Reverend, so will Louie!" Ed said.

"Say Ed, I have to see you about something important. Got a minute?" Reverend Bemis said.

"Yeah Reverend Bemis what's up?" Ed said.

"That's funny that you put that way Ed....Um, how would you like to get together, you, me and Louie and do that trapeze number again?'' Reverend Bemis asked fearingly.

"You can't be serious Rev!" Ed said.

"Ah but Ed, I had so much fun flying in the air!" Reverend Bemis looked up." Ed, I never felt so close with God!"

"Well Reverend Bemis, I don't know...I thought you were paranoid up there in the air?"

"I was at first but I got a wonderful feeling as I was flying Ed." Reverend Bemis smiled.

"I didn't, I ended up having to change my pants after the act was done." Ed said.

"Please Ed, talk to Louie for me?" Reverend Bemis pleaded.

"Oh, ok Rev, we'll do it just for you!" Ed patted Reverend Bemis back.

"Thanks Ed, you won’t regret it!" Reverend Bemis took off.

"Sorry about that Liz, I think I need a drink now." Ed said as he thought about flying in the air again.

"Ed, you guys don't have to worry about me, Frank said nothing will happen to me," Liz was concerned.

"Alright Liz, I trust you" Ed said.

Liz and Ed decided to go to the bar. " Here Ed, I'll give you the star treatment!" Liz grasped Ed’s arm they headed back to the bar.

"Ah Liz, when Louie told me that you were coming in the casino as a showgirl. I didn't want to believe it. You look stunning Liz! I'm proud to be escorted by you through the Sands Hotel and Casino!"

"Ed, I bet you say that to all the Girls here!" Liz kissed Ed on the cheek.

"When is Chico performing Liz?" Ed asked.

"I heard it is tonight and possibly tomorrow. Pepe said, if Frank and Dean hear his act, They'll have him open up for them. Please Ed, don’t say anything. It’s supposed to be a surprise for Chico.

"Hey, that will great if they hear his act. Chico would be thrilled to pieces."

"Well, I'm off to play some roulette!" Reverend Bemis hurried over to the Roulette table.

"Place your bets, place your bets!" said the attendant.

"I'd like to place these chips on Black 14 please!" Reverend Bemis placed a pile of chips on the table.

The attendant couldn't believe the amount of chips Reverend Bemis had placed.

"Are you sure about that sir?" said the attendant.

Reverend Bemis nodded his head yes.

The wheel began to spin.

"Black 14!" said the attendant.

"Hallelujah! Thank you Frank!"

Reverend Bemis eyes bugged out as he covered his face.

"You too God! At least let me thank you for sending Frank my way!"

Pepe and Chico were in Pepe’s suite working on material for Chico’s stand up.

"That will work out great Chico. I'm sure you'll be a hit tonight!" Pepe said as he got his stuff together.

"You think so? I mean, what if any big shots show up tonight?" Chico said.

"Relax Chico, it will be like the last time you preformed here. Nothing too it remember?" Pepe said.

"Yeah, I guess I just am a bit anxious!" Chico said.

"Don't worry Chico, I know what your final dialogue is before I start to go on stage. It will be a gas Chico!"

"Hey Chico, do you have your change of clothes? You can come with me and get ready before you go on stage."

"Yeah cuz, their right in my hotel room. I'll go get them and meet you back stage Pepe," Chico said,

"Great, see you then."

Chico left to get ready for his opening act for Pepe.

Chico entered his room and found several baskets of flowers from well wishers for Liz.

Chico gazed at the cards with notes on them to see who they were from. "Hmm, let's see here. Some from Frank and Dean, I kinda figured that...Sammy Davis Jr., Hugh Hefner...Hugh Hefner? No way! I have to read this one."

Chico opened up the card from Hugh Hefner. "To Liz, Frank and Dean think you’re a shoo in for the club. Give me a call. Hef."

Chico re-read the card as he noticed Hef’s phone number to the Playboy Mansion.

"I don't believe this! I know Liz wouldn't take Hef’s offer, well at least I hope not. She wouldn't like the idea of me gawking at all the women there," Chico laughed.

Chico put the card back in the envelope and got his tux for his performance.

Chico got ready to leave the room when he looked at all of Liz’s flowers and well wishers.

"I hope after tonight I'll be as popular as you Liz!" Chico closed the door and headed to the backstage dressing rooms to get ready for his act.

Chapter 5

Chico was in his dressing room when he decided to go see Pepe before he performed. Chico knocked on the Pepe’s dressing room door.

"Pepe, it's me Chico!" Chico knocking on his door waited for Pepe’s answer.

"Come in Chico!" Pepe smiled as he put his suit coat on.

"I hear the Flying Elvis's are back. You suppose Ed, Louie and the Rev are in the act again Chico?" Pepe smiled.

"Really?" Chico laughed. "I haven't heard anything regarding Ed, Louie, and Reverend Bemis doing that trapeze act again Pepe?" Chico wondered.

"It was pretty funny though. That would be hilarious if they were at it again. I thought Reverend Bemis, Ed, and Louie were a scared out of their minds though," Chico laughed.

"Well Chico, they’re supposed to be on in a few minutes. You can see them from the side of the stage if you want."

"This I gotta see, Pepe! Hold on I’ll be back!" Chico went to the side of the stage.

"Ok Chico, let me know how it went." Pepe said.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE SANDS HOTEL AND CASIINO PROUDLY PRESENT THE FLYING ELVIS'S!"

The back ground music play Teddy Bear as Ed, Louie, and Reverend Bemis dressed up in Elvis suits swung in the air by bungie cords.

"Woohoo!" yelled Reverend Bemis yelled as he flew through the air tossing a big Teddy Bear to Ed.

"Ouch! " Ed said as the Teddy Bear hit Ed in the stomach just as he caught it.

"Sorry Ed," Reverend Bemis yelled as he flew past him.

Louie was having the time of his life as he grinned from ear to ear along with Reverend Bemis as they did somersaults in the air.

Reverend Bemis was smiling with glee when he noticed Frank, Dean and Sammy in the audience. Reverend Bemis floated in the air as if he could fly.

"Ah to be so close to God!" Reverend Bemis smiled as he somersaulted twice in the air.

The crowd ohhhed and ahhhed as the Reverend got into the act.

Frank, Sammy and Dean nudged each other as they pointed up to the Reverend.

Reverend Bemis flew passed Frank, Dean and Sammy, giving them all the thumbs up as he flew by.

Finally the flying Elvis’s finished their act. Chico got himself ready to be announced.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE SANDS HOTEL AND CASINO PROUDLY INTRODUCE CHICO RODRIGUEZ!"

Chico who was all dressed up in a brand new tux courtesy of Pepe. Chico walked out on stage as the crowd gave Chico a warm welcome.

"Thank you! It's great to be back! I would like to thank Pepe Fernando for giving me the opportunity to entertain you once again!"

The crowd applauded Chico and Pepe.

."...I'm not all Puerto Rican, I'm half Hungarian. Hungarian. That was a weird combination to grow up with because I could never figure out how my parents met. You know a gypsy and a Puerto Rican. I asked my mother and she said that they were on a bus trying to pick each others pocket."

The crowd laughed.

"...a lot of people think Puerto Ricans are responsible for cockroaches. I want to clear that up right now. We didn't bring em' here. When we got here they were living in the apartments we live in now. But they’re strong I'm afraid of them. They adapt to any environment. They learned how to talk in my building. They would threaten me before I went out. Chico, where you going? To the grocery store ah. Don't come back with some roach poison or we lock you out. And we can't kill roaches, we should send them to war. They’re incredibly strong. You step on them and you hear them snap. Soon as you lift your foot, they run like hell. I think they know that we believe when we hear the snap we think there dead, right now there under our foot going Chump! And they’re gone right..."

The crowd cheered and laughed.

"...With crime people are buying dogs, guns, taking kungfu lessons. Most people buy German shepherds cause they’re great with the door bell right? aaaaaa ( makes door bell sound) ! Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff. Neighbors move right. I bought a Puerto Rican Shepherd. Very macho. (Makes doorbell sound) aaaaaaaa! Who is it? I tried to paper train him. I put newspaper in the bathroom. He'd go sit on the bowl and read em. The reason I knew he was a Puerto Rican shepherd, if I take him out on the street and he seen a poodle he'd go..... (Makes kissing sounds) bow wow honey oh yeah! Looking good!"

Chico continued his act as the crowd enjoyed his stand up. Chico gazed through the audience as he spotted Frank, Dean and Sammy sitting with Liz.

"Yeah, New York was serious. You couldn't own a yellow car. I had yellow Plymouth once. I stopped for a red light, a guy jumped in. 84th Street and Broadway baby. Whatcha mean you ain’t a cab sucka? Then don't be stoppin at a traffic light then!"

Chico finished his act.

"Thank you and good night! " Chico raised his hand to the audience and waved good bye as he blew a kiss with his other hand.

The audience cheered and whistled as they stood up appreciating Chico’s comedy act.

Chico bowed gracefully and left the stage.

"Chico! I never heard such laughter come from the audience like that! You were great!" Pepe hugged Chico.

Chico was in a state of euphoria as the crowd continued their applause.

"Chico go out there again and thank the audience!" Pepe said in Chico’s ear through the crowd.

Chico ran out to the stage gleaming with joy as he bowed again to the cheering crowd.

Chico ran back to the side of the stage. "Pepe, I can't believe it! They loved me out there!" Chico hugged Pepe again. "Thank you Pepe! "

Pepe embraced Chico then waited for his cue.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE SANDS HOTEL AND CASINO PROUDLY WELCOMES PEPE FERNANDO!"

Pepe was escorted out and got himself positioned to perform. Before he started to sing he wanted to say something.

"Ladies and Gentlemen thank you for giving my cousin Chico a warm welcome here tonight!" Pepe started his set with "Light My Fire."

The crowd went wild as Pepe Fernando began to sing "Light My Fire."

Chico stood back stage and watched Pepe perform his set of songs when Chico got approached from behind.

"You were great kid!" Pepe’s manager said.

"You really think so?" Chico said.

"You are a natural kid, in fact I got a message from Frank, Dean, and Sammy that they want to talk to you about appearing with them on their show tomorrow night."

"You’re kidding right? Frank, Sammy and Dean want me to do a gig with them?" Chico smiling was in shock about the news of tomorrow night.

Chico sat on a equipment box daydreaming about his comedy act. Chico imagined himself hanging out with Frank, Sammy, and Dean just as Liz was doing.

"Imagine me, performing with Frank, Dean, and Sammy"! Chico left the backstage area that lead to back door to the casino.

Chico spotted Louie and Ed.

"Ed! Louie!" Chico ran up to them to catch as they were leaving.

"Hey Chico, that was quite a performance! I never laughed so hard in my life," Louie smiled.

"Yeah Chico, you were a riot. Everyone was laughing hysterically," Ed smiled.

"Have you seen Liz?" Chico looked around the crowds.

"Yeah we seen her leave with them if that's what you mean Chico?" Louie asked.

"Well, I just got a message from Pepe’s manager that Frank wants me to perform with them tomorrow night!" Chico smiled still couldn't believe it.

"Hey! That’s great Chico. I'm sure Liz will be thrilled!"

Chico headed to the bar where Liz met Frank and Dean hoping they might be there.

As Chico made his way to the bar passersby spotted Chico pointing at him as they remarked about his performance.

Two girls went up to Chico.

"Hey!" A girl nudged his arm. "Can I have your autograph?!" the girls pleaded.

"Sure!" Chico gratefully signed there programs of the his performance.

"You’re related to Pepe Fernando?" one of the girls asked.

"Yes ma'am!" Chico smiled as he continued to sign autographs.

"I think he's great. You’re pretty cute yourself Chico!" another girl said.

"Thank you!" Chico had a big grin on his face as he got his picture taken with the two girls.

Chico finished signing their autographs then headed back to the bar where he thought Liz might be.

Chico went passed the Lobby just when he was motioned by Sammy Davis Jr. who was on his way to the bar also.

"Say Chico, that was some act you performed. You got talent! I understand you will be performing with Frank, Dean, and myself tomorrow night."

"Yeah, it's going to be exciting. Exciting for me at least," Chico smiled.

"Yeah, believe me Chico, Frank, Dean, and I are looking forward to work with you. We should get together and work on our number that all of us are dong together."

"Number? " Chico said.

"Yeah, after each of us are finished with our own sets. We all get together and do a singing number together. Something fun, zany, a little shtick if you know what I mean."

"That will be some gig Sammy. I mean being onstage with all of you guys."

"We are all doing the song called the Birth of the blues. It’s a catchy little number. We all have a small part to sing. I have the ideal part in the song that will work with your vocal range Chico."

"Thank you, thank you very much Sammy!" Chico grinned.

"I see you got yourself a following, Chico. How many girls have you signed autographs already?" Sammy asked.

Chico looked up and thought it over.

"Too many to count I see. That a boy, Chico!" Sammy smiled patting him on his back.

As Sammy continued to talk to Chico another group of girls came around the corner.

"There he is! Chico! Chico!" The girls jumped up and down with excitement shouted as they started to hurry over.

"Uh oh Chico. Looks like you've made the big time," Sammy whispered.

"I don't know about you, but either those girls are hurrying over here real fast to see you, or there's a riot going on."

"There not hurrying over to see me?" Chico said as he pointed to himself.

"Well then you must be the cause of the riot then Chico." Sammy pointed to the girls heading their way.

Chico turned around as her heard his name being called.

"Well, Sammy it was nice chatting with you" Chico said while he began to walk away picking up his pace.

"Well Chico I'm going to find your beautiful wife Liz. Hopefully I'll get my turn to be escorted by her through out the Casio. Oh by the way. Run for your life Chico, your fans? They’re heading your way!"

Sammy smiled and ducked to a corner as the girls were getting closer to Chico.

"Chico, Chico, Chico!" The girls were catching up to Chico as he began to start running.

Chico ran around the corner as the group of girls split up without him knowing. A few minutes later a group of girls were running towards him. Chico stopped on his tracks then heard the group of girls behind him.

"Cheese and Crackers!" Chico stopped as he was leaning against the wall.

Girls everywhere came up to Chico asking for autographs, tugging on his clothes, yanking at his hair.

"Chico, I love you! Can I have your autograph?" The girls shouted as they tried desperately to reach him.

Girls were suffocating Chico as they made attempts to touch him, hug him, kiss him, and grab any article of clothing they could hold on to.

"Ahh!" Chico laughed as he got poked in the stomach.

A sea of girls’ hands and faces buried Chico as he was pushed against the wall.

Sliding down against the wall Chico felt the lips of many girls kiss him all over his face and head.

One girl gave him her phone number written in a pair of underwear and stuffed it in his coat pocket.

Chico still pinned on the ground tried to sign autographs till security guards finally showed up to break up the crowd of girls.

"Hey!" the security guard yelled as he tried to break up the crowd getting a hold of Chico and pulling him away.

"You ok?" asked security.

"Yeah, I'm ok, My shirt is all ripped but I'll be fine thanks," Chico said.

The security guard broke up the group of girls and led them away from Chico.

The other security guard helped Chico up off the ground.

Chico got himself together and left for his room with a security guard.

Heading towards his hotel room Chico found Liz heading to there room coming from the other side of the hallway.

"What happened to you, Chico?" Liz looked at Chico’s face as she held it.

"I was chased by a group of girls wanting my autograph Liz," Chico smiled.

"Really? I hear you were quite a hit on stage Chico. I'm so happy for you! " Liz said as she hugged Chico.

"I see you've had your share of women, Chico," Liz kidded with Chico as she noticed the lip stick stains on his shirt collar and face.

"Yeah, well I guess it comes with the territory Liz." Chico laughed as he wiped the lipstick marks off his cheek.

"Just remember Chico. I'm your number one fan," Liz smiled.

"You should be ok now Mr. Rodriguez. Just be careful now that you've become quite a teen idol already."

Chico smiled. "Sonamagun!"

Chico opened the door finding the room buried with flowers. "I don't believe this Liz! You have so many flowers." Chico stunned and a bit jealous looked around the room.

Liz walked up towards the flowers smelled them as she glanced at the cards.

"Hey Chico more than half of these are for you!"

"What? No way mama." Chico couldn't believe it.

"You’re kidding right? I gotta see this." Chico eagerly got a closer look at the cards.

"Hello!" Chico smiled as he read the cards addressed to him.

Chico was in awe at all the cards. Some were from girls, celebrities, and hotel management.

"Chico, this is so exciting! Who would of thought all this would happen!"

Liz sat down on the couch looking at all the flowers they have received.

"Here we were coming to Vegas to hunt down Reverend Bemis and we end up rubbing elbows with Frank, Sammy, and Dean!"

"Yeah Liz, I never dreamed it would of come this far," Chico said.

"I realized the last time when we were here and I had the opportunity to perform yet you didn't want to be away from me or anyone else back home. Now, we both are doing well here in Vegas but..."

Chico sat on the bed thinking about their future.

"But what Chico?" Liz put his arm around him as she sat next to him.

"What if this isn't the life that I have always dreamed about?" Chico concerned looked into Liz’s eyes.

"Are you having second thoughts, Chico?" Liz asked.

"Well Liz, I remember when we were the last time. Pepe called me on the phone and asked me to hang with him. He mentioned to me that he was lonely and needed family."

"What if we take up any offers we receive to stay here? I don't want to be a burden to Ed. Especially after all he's done for me."

Chico was feeling restless.

"I wouldn't worry about that till that were to happen, Chico," Liz said.

"We are experiencing the thrill of a life time. A dream come true, Chico. Let's live the dream and then go on with our lives when we return home." Liz hugged Chico.

"Don't worry Chico, you will do a great job when you perform with Frank, Sammy and Dean."

"You think so Liz? I just hope I don't disappoint them." Chico kissed Liz.

"Well, I'm glad Reverend Bemis had a good show. He seemed to be enjoying himself up there in the air Liz." Chico hugged Liz.

"Chico, I have never seen the audience so much into the acts like they were when you preformed. Frank, Sammy, and Dean, really enjoyed the show!"

"Do you think I have any good taste Liz?" Chico plopped on the bed as he thought about his comedy act.

"I don't know. Let me taste you Chico!" Liz crawled on the bed as she winked at Chico. She lay her head on Chico’s shoulder.

Liz hugged Chico and as they embraced Chico was feeling a sense of security.

"Liz, mi amore!" Chico caressed Liz as he began to kiss her to share their moment.

Chico and Liz began to arouse each other when there was a knock on their door.

"Grrrr! Who could that be?" Chico’s head was resting on Liz’s shoulder as he got up to see who was at the door.

Chico opened the door. "REV! Come on in!" Chico hugged Reverend Bemis.

"Hello Chico, hello Liz!" Reverend Bemis said as he sat down on the chair.

"You were great Reverend Bemis!" Liz smiled.

"Thanks Liz. Ah Chico, Liz I want to talk to you about something if I may," Reverend Bemis asked.

"What is it Reverend Bemis?" Liz asked.

"I've been thinking of leaving the church and live the life of a Flying Elvis!" Reverend Bemis said with excitement.

"Rev, you can't be serious! Think of all of your parishioners at the church back home," Chico said.

"Yes Chico, but I was so close with God, I didn't want it to stop!" Reverend Bemis twirled around looking up.

"Please Rev. Please think about this before you resign from the church. Spend some time in the chapel think about what you might miss if you leave the church Reverend Bemis."

Chico pleaded with Reverend Bemis.

"I don't know Chico, I feel I've let God down already with my gambling," Reverend Bemis said shamefully.

"How about the both of us get together with God in the chapel and talk it over Rev. I could use sometime with God with some situations I'm having right now," Chico said.

"Really Chico? Well I guess it wouldn't hurt." Reverend Bemis and Chico were getting ready to leave when Chico cornered Liz. "Hold it Rev, I'll be right there."

Chico asked Liz to get in touch with Frank concerning Reverend Bemis’s decision.

"Ok Rev let's make a visit to the chapel.

As Reverend Bemis and Chico headed over to the chapel, Liz tried to get a hold of Frank Sinatra.

"Yes operator. Please page Mr. Frank Sinatra. It's an emergency. This is Liz Garcia- Rodriguez."

Liz patiently paced the floor till Frank answered the phone. "Come on, come Frank answer the phone..."

"Frank speaking."

"Frank...."

"Liz babee! Where you been hiding sweet cakes!" Frank used his charm on Liz.

"Frank, Chico and I have a problem with Reverend Bemis."

"What is the problem Liz?" Frank asked.

"Reverend Bemis came by our room this morning told us he was leaving the church to be a member of the Flying Elvis’s!" Liz paced the floor.

"That's not good Liz! Is the Reverend still with you two?" Frank asked.

"No Frank, Chico talked him into thinking it over and going to the chapel with him to be alone with God. Chico said he had something to deal with God too. They should be at the chapel by now Frank," Liz said.

"Frank, Reverend Bemis doesn't realize who much of an important person he is to our community at home," Liz pleaded.

"Liz, babee, let me handle it." Frank said.

"Thanks Frank," Liz said.

"You’re welcome sweet cakes!" Frank hung up the phone.

Chico and Reverend Bemis arrived at the chapel.

Chico and Reverend Bemis sat down on the pew. Chico pulled out the pew kneeler and knelt down to pray. Reverend Bemis followed Chico.

Chico silently prayed " ...Help me get through the new avenues that I am experiencing God. I don't want to let anyone down..."

Reverend Bemis had his eyes tightly closed.

"What do want me to do God!" Reverend Bemis struggling with his decision raised his hands to the air in a plea with God.

Silently Reverend Bemis heard the scuffle of shoes as someone sat down on the pew behind him.

A cloud of smoke appeared creeping towards Reverend Bemis.

Reverend Bemis turned around to look.

"Frank!" Reverend Bemis nervously shouted.

Chico turned around. He couldn't believe his eyes. "Frank Sinatra?!"

"Liz called me concerning your decisions, Padre. Why are you thinking of leaving the church?"

"Frank, I so much enjoyed being close with God in the air as a Flying Elvis. It was exhilarating Frank!" Reverend Bemis was so excited.

"Reverend... Excuse me Mr. Sinatra. You're always close to God with your sermons. Liz and I enjoy them tremendously," Chico said.

"Chico, is right. I've enjoyed our little chats even though I may not appear like I do Padre," Frank said as he puffed on a cigarette.

Dean Martin walked in the chapel.

"Well. I finally found you two!" Dean sat down on the pew in front of them and leaned his arm over the pew.

Reverend Bemis looked at Dean wondering why he was here.

"I was at the bar waiting for Frank and Chico, Reverend Bemis." Dean lit up a smoke.

"I've been waiting so long I almost went on the wagon!" Dean rubbed his head.

"We can't let that happen now Padre!" Frank said.

"Ok, ok fellas, let me think it over..." Reverend Bemis said.

"I think you've already thought it over Rev," Frank said.

"Yes Frank you’re right. The life of a Flying Elvis was wonderful but the church is more in my blood," Reverend Bemis stood up and proudly proclaimed.

"Does that mean you won’t be performing the night Chico performs with Sammy, Dean, and myself?" Frank wondered.

"Oh, I most certainly will do the act the night Chico is performing with you Frank," Reverend Bemis said.

"After that I hang up my jumpsuit for good!"

"Ah let us sing a song of praise to this glorious event!"

Reverend Bemis stood up and lead them into a song.

"Un-to our God and Savior. Be glo-ry and Maj-es-ty. pow'r and do-min-ion; Both now and for-ev-er, Both now and for-ev-er. Be glo-ry and maj-es-ty with -out end. Now and ev-er more, now and ev-er-more. A-men! ..."

"One more chorus and we'll get out because I left my drink at the bar," Dean nudged Reverend Bemis.

"Ok, ok Dean!" Reverend Bemis said.

"Ah that was beautiful, children. One more time then we'll depart."

"Un-to our God and Savior. Be glo-ry and Maj-es-ty. pow'r and do-min-ion; Both now

and for-ev-er, Both now and for-ev-er. Be glo-ry and maj-es-ty with-out end. Now

and ev-er more, now and ev-er-more. A-men! ..."

"Would you like to get together with Frank and I after we leave the chapel Chico?" Dean asked.

"Sure he would Deano," Frank, smiling, gave Chico a bear hug.

"Great, we can meet at the bar and have a drink or two," Dean said.

"I don't drink Dean," Chico said.

Dean put his arm around Chico. "I feel sorry for those who don't drink. Because in the morning that's as good as you’re gonna feel all day."

"Are you sure you guys don't want to sing anymore songs Frank, Dean?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"I'd like to sing more for you Rev, but I'm lucky I can remember these." Dean got out of his seat and motioned Chico to follow him.

"Chico, let's meet frank at the bar. Sammy is coming very shortly," Dean said.

"So, Chico, what do you do when you’re not making people laugh?" Dean said as they made their way to the bar.

"I’m a mechanic," Chico said.

"A mechanic? Why all that can change if you want, Chico," Dean said.

"What do you mean Dean?" Chico asked curiously.

"You can make it big here, Chico! With the right management and a few strings pulled from Frank and myself. You can go places here, Chico." Dean smiled.

"You’re telling me I can perform Vegas regularly Dean?" Chico was shocked and amazed.

"It's possible Chico, we'll see how things go after you perform with all of us tonight!"

"It'll be a smash!" Dean said.

Chapter 6

Chico met with Sammy for the rehearsal.

"Hey Chico glad you could make it so early!" Sammy said as he lit up a smoke.

"Are you kidding? I still can't believe you invited me to perform with you guys!"

Chico checking out the bands was in awe.

Frank and Dean arrived. "Hello Sammy! Chico glad you could make it!" Dean and Frank shook Chico’s and Sammy’s hands.

"Chico I trust you got the music to our song we're singing?" Frank smiled.

"Yes Frank, Sammy and I went through the song earlier."

Everyone got their places and started to practice.

"Ok Chico you start!" Frank said as he motioned Chico to the mike.

"They heard the breeze in the trees singing weird, weird melodies..." Chico sang as he swayed to the band behind him.

"HOLD IT, HOLD IT!!" Frank smacked Chico on his cheek. "Chico, you got a beat like a cop!"

Dean cringed as he pointed upward to Chico. "Hey Chico, there's a gangster sleeping up stairs."

Dean continued to point to the ceiling. "As long as you don't wake him up, you’re fine fella."

Chico feared what Dean said then bent over laughing hysterically.

Sammy leaned over to Chico. "We Puerto Ricans need to stick together. Follow my lead."

"Here Chico relax babee!" Frank bobbed his head and snapped his fingers as the band started the number again.

Dean leaned over to Chico. "Let's hurry up I left my drink at the bar!"

Later in the rehearsal the guys called it a day.

"That was swell Chico. You’re gonna knock them dead tonight! " Dean said.

"Chico, you thought you had a following of girls the other day? Wait till after this performance. You'll have girls trying to break down your door!" Sammy patted him on his arm.

Chico stood there smiling as he imagined the fantasy of girls swooning over him as he sang.

"Don’t forget Chico, you’re married to Liz," Dean smiled as he sipped his drink and walked passed Chico.

"Liz? LIZ!" Chico shook the fantasy out of his head. "Thanks Dean!"

"Well I’ll see you guys later tonight!" Chico waved as he made his way out of the stage.

Chico met Ed and Louie at the casino. " Hey, Louie!"

"Hey Chico are you all set for your big performance tonight?" Louie asked.

"Yeah Louie! It should be fun. We rehearsed a singing number we're doing together." Chico said as he received his cards.

"Your singing with the Candy man?!" Louie shouted and smiled big.

'Yeah, Louie, along with Frank and Dean too!" Chico grinned and looked at his cards.

Reverend Bemis came up from behind them.

"Hello gentleman!" Reverend Bemis said.

"Hello Rev," Chico pulled out a seat for him.

"Thanks Chico. I feel lucky tonight!" Reverend Bemis smiled and rubbed his hands together.

"Oh that's just great Reverend Bemis! Now I know for sure I’m not going to win," Ed said.

"Well I can't stay too long, I have to get ready for my act tonight," Reverend Bemis smiled looking upwards.

"I hope you’ll do well tonight with the original Flying Elvis’s, Reverend," Louise said.

"Yeah me too Louie" Reverend Bemis looked at his cards. "Frank Sinatra said he was going to talk to them. So I could do this one more time. You now Chico, just to get it out of my system."

Ed left the table.

Reverend Bemis waved his hands.

"And here all this time we thought you had the gambling bug, Rev," Chico asked.

"I won! Hallelujah!" Reverend Bemis stood and shouted.

Louie, frustrated, threw his cards on the table. "Well I'll be doggone!" Louie shook his head in disbelief.

"Rev, you better get outta here before Ed finds out you broke the bank again!" Chico said.

"Where is Ed any way?" Reverend Bemis asked.

"I think he's at the bar. You know, getting his hourly shot of Bourbon," Chico said,

"Well gentleman I better get going. I have to limber up so I'll be ready to perform tonight," Reverend Bemis said.

"Yeah, I better get going, too." Chico got up from his seat just as Ed arrived.

"Hello Louie, Reverend, Chico."

"Hi Ed, bye Ed!" Chico and Reverend Bemis left.

"They have to get ready to perform tonight, Ed," Louie said as he looked at his cards. Ed watched them leave.

"I understand it's going to be a big show tonight," Ed said.

"Yeah this is Pepe’s last show tonight also. Reverend Bemis will be performing. Chico is doing a singing number with Frank, Sammy and Dean."

"Well that will be exciting. Liz will enjoy seeing that with us," Ed smiled.

"Yeah Ed, I'm glad Chico and Liz are excepting each others opportunities here in Vegas. Do you think they'll be coming back with us?" Louie asked.

"I don't know Louie, I just don't know," Ed wondered.

Chico arrived to his hotel room to pick up his tux. Chico smelled the room as he witnessed the enormous amount of flowers that Liz and Chico had received. Each bouquet filled the room with a fragrance he and Liz enjoyed.

"Well Liz, this is it! This is make it or break it night for me. I hope you’ll enjoy it as well as I will when you watch it with Ed and Louie."

Chico looked in the mirror as he buttoned his shirt glanced at his watch wondered where Liz was.

"Hmm, Liz hurry up." Chico continued to wait for Liz. " Well hopefully I'll see her before my performance." Chico glanced at his watch again hoping to catch her one last time before he had to leave to the theater.

Chico grabbed his keys and hurried over to the theater where he was to perform.

Reverend Bemis was in his dressing room changing into his outfit when he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Reverend Bemis said.

Frank, Dean and Sammy walked in. "Rev, babee, we just wanted to say how much we've enjoyed your act!" Sammy said.

"Well comin’ from all you guys I appreciate that. I just hope the real Flying Elvis’s do," Reverend Bemis said.

"Don't worry Rev, you'll be fine." Sammy patted Reverend Bemis on the back.

"See you later, Rev, babee!" Frank, Dean, and Sammy left his dressing room.

Chico arrived at his dressing room to get prepared for his own act and singing number.

"Pepe!" Chico smiled." This is quite a surprise!" Chico found Pepe sitting on the sofa.

Pepe rose up from the sofa.

"Well Chico, I just wanted to wish you good luck tonight. I hear Frank, Dean, and Sammy have taken quite a shine to you."

"Well Pepe, if it wasn't for you giving me the opportunity I would of never been in this position!" Chico hugged Pepe.

"Hey, Chico, I believe in a few minutes the Flying Elvis’s are about to perform. I can hear the shuffle of the performers already. I remember these guys. They were pretty good. I although I thought the group including Louie and Ed were much more funnier."

"Yeah, Ed and Louie, Reverend Bemis had no idea what they were getting into when they first stepped on that stage," Chico said.

"Let's head on out and you can watch there act Chico. I'm on right after them," Chico escorted Pepe to the side of the stage.

"Hey Rev! " Chico yelled up to him while the band played Good Luck Charm.

Reverend Bemis spotted Chico and saluted him as he prepared for his cue. Suddenly Reverend Bemis dove into the air swaying back and forth.

"HALLELUJAH!" Reverend Bemis yelled as he flew through the air catching the teddy bear that was tossed to him.

Reverend Bemis flipped through the air with excitement. The Flying Elvis’s swung around in loops and they flashed their shiny jumpsuits that were lighted up.

The crowd owwed and awwed over the acrobatics that Reverend Bemis performed. As the performance drew to a close Reverend Bemis swung back and forth through out the crowd. With a tear in his eye Reverend Bemis waved goodbye to the crowd and bowed gracefully to the audience.

Chico ran out on stage and thanked everyone for their generous applause. "Thank you so much!"

Chico did his stand up as the crowd roared with laughter.

A half an hour later the spotlight went on the side of the stage. The audience applauded Sammy Davis Jr. who had the spotlight on him at the side of the stage.

"Chico, you wanna lock up when you’re through?" Sammy puffed on a smoke.

The audience applauded.

"I was only killing time till you got your Barbie suit on!" Chico said to Sammy and looked toward his eye level.

"Sammy come here." Chico motioned him to come by him.

"Tell everyone in the audience where you get your clothes." Chico put his arm around him.

"Toys are us!" Sammy gave a laughing smirk to him and the audience.

Dean and Frank walked out on stage next to Sammy and Chico.

"Well fellas how about we do that number we rehearsed this morning?" Frank said as put his arm around Dean and Chico. Sammy leaned into the huddle.

Liz coming from behind walked on stage with a more revealing outfit.

"Gee Frank that sounds swell!" Dean said as he sipped his drink looking at Liz.

"Send me the pillow that you dream on. So darlin, I can dream on it too," Dean crooned as he swooned to Liz. Liz, smiling, swayed in front of Dean.

Liz rested her hand on Dean’s cheek. Dean responded by standing behind her as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Deano that was great, but that wasn't what we rehearsed together," Sammy said.

"It wasn’t? Ah nuts!" Dean smiled and laughed nervously at the audience. "Well thank you very much!" Dean bowed to the audience.

"What was that song anyways." Dean walked over to Frank and slipped on the floor

"Safe, am I safe?" Dean yelled as he leaned up looking at Chico. Chico made the hand gestures indicating that Dean was safe.

"You mean you forgot already?" Frank asked.

"Gee Frank, I think my life just passed before my eyes," Dean held his hand over his head.

"Let me know when it does. I love a parade!" Frank yelled over.

"Ladies and Gentleman, I'd like to do more for you now, but I'm lucky I can remember these." Dean rubbed his forehead as he got up from the floor.

Liz walked near the back of stage removing a cover she wore over her top revealing less of her outfit, and more of her.

Chico and Dean looked her over. "Say doll, that's some outfit!" Dean said

Liz seductively walked in front of Dean, Frank and Sammy winking at each one of them.

Frank extended his arm to Liz. Liz gratefully held his arm as Frank walked around the stage singing.

"Well this is my first affair, so please be kind."

"You wish Frank!" Sammy yelled as Frank continued his stroll through out the stage.

"Handle my heart with care, please be kind.

This is all so grand, my dreams are on parade

If you'll just my hand, they'll never, ever fade.

So tell me your loves sincere, oh, please be kind

Tell me you needn't fear, oh please be kind.

'Cause if you leave me dear, I know my heart will lose its mind

If you love me...Please be kind.

This is my first affair, so please be kind.

Handle my heart with care oh, please be kind.

So tell me your loves sincere, yes please be kind

Tell me I needn't fear, please be kind

'Cause if you leave me dear, I know my heart will lose it's mind.

If you love me babee please be kind.

Chico did a double take. "Oh please tell this isn't happening!" Chico thought.

"Liz!" Chico thought. "Ok, Chico just relax! Hopefully that will be it and nothing more!"

Dean moved the microphone and whacked himself in the eye.

"OW!" Dean covered his eye and walked away.

"What are you drinking tonight Dean?" Sammy asked.

"Whisky and water Sammy. Why?" Dean asked.

"I just want to know how much of that is water?" Sammy leaned over and looked into his glass.

Dean put his thumb and index finger together, "Oh, about that much!"

Suddenly the band began to play their number.

Sammy stepped forward. Liz followed Sammy arm and arm walking ever so seductively.

"These are the blues.... Nothing but blues."

"Oh they say some people long ago were searching for a different tune. One that they could croon as long as they can."

Dean walked up to Sammy and put his arm around him.

Dean began to sing. Chico looked on as Liz walked over to Dean teasing him with her feathered headpiece.

"They only had one rhythm, so they started swaying to and fro'. They didn't know just what to use. This is how the blues really began."

Chico walked up and stood next to Dean. Liz shook her behind to Chico teasing him and the crowd.

Chico sang next to Liz. "They heard the breeze in the trees singing weird melodies"

Frank walked up to Liz and Chico. "And they named that... The start of the blues."

"Here's another thing Frank," Chico said, as he was about to continue.

"And from a jail, there came a wail, up and down that harded frail" Dean leaned over and crooned.

"Oh so she was a frantic chic!" Frank nudged Dean as he pointed to Liz.

"Was she?" Chico asked leaning into there conversation.

"And they played that...They play that as part of the blues." Dean looked into the audience.

Chico walked up to Frank and leaned on him. "From a whipple will way up on a hill. They took a new note. They pushed it through a horn till it was born, into a blue note." Chico crooned.

The audience cheered as Chico sang his solo.

Chico, Dean, Frank and Sammy all gathered around together.

"And then they nursed it... They rehearsed it, and they sent out that news... That the SouthLand gave birth to the blues"

Dean circled around them and stopped over at Sammy as they all continued to sing. "Yeah they nursed it, they rehearsed it and they sent out that news."

Frank stepped forward put his arm around Liz. "That the Southland, they gave birth to the blues!"

After the song was done they all bowed to the audience. The crowd cheered and stood up in appreciation.

The crowd continued their applause for Sammy, Frank and Dean as each entertainer bowed before the audience.

Chico bowed towards the audience. Flowers and underwear were tossed on stage as girls screamed Chico’s name. Chico picked up the flowers.

"Thank you, thank you very much," Chico smiled as he waved to the audience.

Dean walked up towards Chico and picked up the underwear. As Dean leaned over to Chico he placed them in front of his slacks. "Ah Chico," Dean nudged him. "Do you think these will fit?"

Frank leaned over to look. " I don't know Dean, somehow that color doesn't suit you."

The audience continued to applaud them as they made their way out of the stage.

"That was terrific, Chico!" Reverend Bemis patted Chico’s shoulder.

"Rev, I never had so much fun in my entire life!" Chico smiled.

Frank, Dean, Sammy came across Chico and Reverend Bemis. "C'mon Rev, Chico. We're all going to the bar!"

Liz approached Chico. "Chico!"

Chico turned around hugged her. "Liz, how could you go out there in that outfit?" Chico was concerned.

"Sorry Chico, I just had a rush when I was out there. I was told it was adjustable so I took the chance and showed it off." Liz hugged Chico.

"I was surprise there was anything else left in that outfit that could come off. That would be considered offensive Liz," Chico questioned.

"Chico this is Vegas! Anything is possible," Liz smiled.

"Liz, if you want to romp around like that. Do it only in front of ME only Ok?" Chico asked.

"Alright Chico, just for you!" Liz winked.

"Besides you got Dean all hot and bothered when you danced in front of him."

"Is that why he fell down on stage Chico?" Liz and Chico laughed.

"Possibly Liz!" Chico and Liz headed towards the bar.

Chico and Liz hung out at the bar. Ed wandered in.

"Hey you too that was quite a performance!" Ed smiled waved the bartender over.

"You know Liz and Chico, as much as I would love to stick around here more. I think we should be heading back soon." Ed drank his shot.

"You lost all your money you took with you already didn't you?" Chico asked.

"Is it that obvious?" Ed sighed.

" Well that's what happens when your glued to the tables day in and day out Ed" Chico clanked his glass.

"Yeah, I just don't know how that Reverend Bemis does it?"

"You know Ed as much as I enjoyed entertaining everyone I just can't leave behind what you’ve done for me all these years," Chico leaned against the bar.

"Leave behind? Were you thinking of quitting your job at the garage, Chico?" Ed asked.

"Well, I was offered an opportunity to continue with the act with Dean, Frank and Sammy, Ed."

"I mean it was fun for a while. But it's also very grueling, the fans hounding you, I hardly ever got to see Liz as much as I liked when I was here." Chico embraced Liz.

"Liz I came here to Vegas hoping to win big and I did when I married you!" Chico kissed her.

"Life as a headliner wasn’t as good a trip as I had hoped." Chico sipped his drink.

Dean, Frank and Sammy wandered into the bar, as well as Louie and Reverend Bemis. Louie pointed to Ed who was in front of them.

"Chico, Liz! You two were dynamite tonight!" Dean said as he waved the bartender over.

Frank lit up a smoke as well as did Sammy.

"Thanks fellas for the generous opportunity to be apart of your act." Chico shook hands with them.

"I must inform you though, our lives as a Vegas act must come to a close though," Chico said fearing what Frank would say.

"Ah, Chico, Liz, you leaving the business already?" Frank said,

"You’re breaking my heart, Liz!" Dean said as he rubbed his eyes.

"Now, who am I going to have escort me around this hotel if you leave?" Frank said.

"I'll do it! I'll do it!" Louie grinned.

"Louie!" Ed said.

"Sorry Louie, you ain’t got the figure for it!" Sammy said.

"Well I guess all good things must come to an end. Why did you have to end it so soon Liz?" Dean leaned his head on the bar table.

"Oh Dean, I have to get back to reality. As much as I’ve dreamt of being a showgirl, my main goal in life is to be a dental hygienist," Liz smiled.

"Ah Liz, honey. I understand. I'm just disappointed that it has to end so soon," Sammy said.

"Liz, let me know who your dentist is I want to make an appointment." Dean smiled.

"I want to introduce the man who has helped me get on my feet," Chico went to Ed and introduced him.

"Ed, you’re a lucky man," Frank said as he shook hands with him.

"It's never a dull moment working with Chico," Ed smiled.

Chico shook hands with Frank, Sammy and Dean.

"Thank you so much for our second honeymoon Frank." Chico shook hands with Dean and Sammy

"When you think about all that has happened to Liz and I. We really realized how much we meant to each other besides living the ultimate fantasy."

"Why thank you, thank you very much Chico, Liz." Dean winked. Frank smacked Dean on the arm.

"Here Sammy. Let's take one last stroll through the hotel." Liz took Sammy’s arm and Chico took the other and they made their way throughout the hotel.

Chico smiled as he walked about the hotel along with Liz and Sammy as Frank and Dean followed them. Frank poked Sammy on his shoulder, wanting Liz. "Oh no you don't Frank. I have her till she turns in for the evening!"

"That's swell, just swell Sammy!" Frank and Dean staggered out of the bar.
